Lately my old desktop is starting to act up and I'm thinking to replace a new computer. But somehow I'm undecided between these 2 models..

Imac 21.5"
Mac Mini 2.5 ghz

Basically I'll be using it for web browsing, word processing and playing some casual games. Which will suit me better? Thinking of getting the Mac mini as it's cheap, but I'm worried that because of it's small size it will break easily..

Thanks in advance!

dont worry about the mac mini breaking easily ;P

even the rm1.9k mac mini should be enough for you. add the apple wireless keyboard and magic mouse that's just rm2357 (or you can use ur old keyboard and mouse). it comes down to what monitor do you want to use it with.

if u want to use ur old monitor, no need to spend more smile.gif but if you want to buy a monitor for >rm1k, better get an iMac instead

Yeah, I already have a LED monitor. Anyways, is it possible to use a windows keyboard on a mac? The keys are different....

i think it is more recommended to buy macbook pro as it is more portable, and u save the money in purchasing mouse, keyboard and monitor

I actually like the macbook very much. but I already have a laptop.. also, the macbook pro is kinda pricy considering of its specs, is almost same as the mac mini. I'm now undecided between the mac mini or imac. I will be only using for web browsing, doing my reports...etc.. I'm only worried that the mac mini will be too laggy or slow.
