I'm thinking of getting a macbook. But donno whether i should go for pro or just macbook. Okay, basically what i'm going to do this this macbook is that i want to do some editting work, mostly using the final cut pro and also another photoshop programme. So can anyone please tell me whether the most basic macbook will do a good job for this?

Thanks!

I'm planning to get a Macbook. The main purpose of getting one is to do editting with final cut pro and also aperture 2. May i know whether the 2.26ghz is enough for me?

And another thing is that i see there're people selling 2.13 ghz in GS. But then i can't see it in the apple website. Issit the 2.13 is the older spec? The latest spec lowest is 2.236ghz? Thanks

I've did some research. So far the cheapest price i can find for the new mbw is 3399 by Apple store. Since you're still studying, so there's educational price. smile.gif

Ha...I have the exact situation like you. Still cannot decide which model to take. Thinking of getting 13 inch higher spec with 2.53 processor so that I do not need to upgrade myself. However, the price is not cheap.  cry.gif

Will be using it for photo editing.

BTW, mbw lack of sd card reader which I feel not convenient to copy photo from my camera sd card. Not saying it does not have back-lit keyboard and iSight sensor.

erm..may i know what's iSight sensor? and what's it for? lol..
