Just installed RemoteTracker, seems like a very nice and simple software. Most importantly, I feel safer on the streets.

official rom usually have lots of junk ... but that can be fix easily by cooking it wz ur own flava

Guys, I have facing a problem when im using WiFi..they were surfing the net on my home network very fast using my lappy, but on the XPeria it is very very slow and it almost lose the connection and try to switch to 3G/GPRS connection!

Anybody experiencing the same? Any solution?

btw, im using 3rd party rom everytime everyday. no problem at all.. but i some times do have problem using WiFi for remote desktop connection.. will drop a while sometimes... but not as serious as u...

bro.. GPS really depend on wat radio u used. i tried v1.11.25.76 radio and v1.14 radio... u can see tons of GPS accuracy n faster response improvement. now my GPS very nice. get fixed under 10 secs under sunlight.

opps, forget to mention that.. v1.14 is the one good for GPS..

i am using stock rom R2AA ... and the GPS just gr8 wz Garmin & MalFree map

sorry, but i dun quite understand... how do u guys change the gps radio?
and, is the interface laggy? or perhaps i can modify it to become smooth?

radio is a firmware, something like firmware that in fact it is a driver than control our Phone connection, GPS, data connection. u might nid to flash it to your xperia rom to have da latest radio.

anyway, interface laggy really nid to thank to Qualcomn that produce such a "lousy" platform.haha.. no la, lousy in now. but super fast in last year.

qualcomn processor still doesnt have much improvement in graphic, and thus every single PDA using qualcomn processor will produce "slow" FPS on gps navigation. but it is very very acceptable and i hardly get any wrong turn after some time for training.

anyway, every qualcomm-powered windows mobile device including htc touch diamond, diamond 2, touch pro, pro 2, touch hd.. all is laggy 1. but, omnia using 600mhz processor, but no dedicated graphic chipset would fast in loading but still laggy in navigation.

oh yeah, u cannot tweak it but can install latest graphic driver (openv2g) to have it little bit smoother.

better upgrade it to a customize rom or R3AA generic UK rom ... since it will change the radio also ...
like me only 1 day wz the old R1AA

anyway, i not so sure bout da unlock stuff... unless is security locked.. then flashing wont help..

usually unlocking operator to make it operator free need another way to unlock it .... flashing rom is just to update the os

wat i meant flasing is flashing radio juz now.. oh yeah, i forget stock rom include radio as well.. haha, then flash to stock rom 1.. stay with stock rom for few weeks... if really feel it is slow or bad, then only flash 3rd party rom..
