i don't think there's any generic or universal holder that could hold the xperia while it's slided open.
and i've used 2 car holders before this. i would really suggest NOT to buy the cheap-cheap ones. if can, avoid the cheaper holders and get something with better build quality.
my phone got dropped
twice using them cheap holder. once while negotiating a very sharp downhill corner (layan corner

) and another time while changing the position of the phone. the suction cup snaps off

luckily the usb port are not damaged.
swear i'll never use the cheap ones again.
i really think the wifi reception through any handphone is
very bad quite bad. you'd be much better off using a laptop.
since i have an x1, i could say my laptop has twice the power to capture wifi signal compared to the x1
Added on July 29, 2009, 3:18 pm^ although i have to agree, can't judge the quality just by the pricing alone. maybe yeelin could get the quality ones at a cheaper price compared to market.
haha, then let me try it out first... if ms.yeelin 1 good enuf.. then would recommend that..haha
yeah true, as far as i see n use phone with wifi.. all reception is quite bad. short distant and constantly drop packet. but drop packet is not visible while surfing. but for doing remote desktop connection, u could see that it keep on drop.

erm.. possible. i work it out like this:
start -> settings -> clocks & alarm -> more (3rd tab) -> untick both.
then my today screen showing battery amount left rather than clock.
