dan settings should uually be in ur bios.

browse through your bios and see if theres anything that can adjust in regards to fan speed relating to temps etc.

u need to redo the heatshrink for ur USB, firewire, and audio headers...

dont shrink the tube over the plugs itself...just over the cables only...otherwise itll tercabut like wat happened to urs....

also, give overall view from 3 sides please...closeups dont really tell the overall picture biggrin.gif

thanks for the comments guys.
yes its stock hsf. what are the aftermarket coolers that can fit in to this sff?

and i found out that the resonating sound wasnt from the casing, it was the stock hsf. apparently the fan wasnt secured tightly to the heatsink. tried slotting papers in between but still coudnt work.

yea, reapplying paste doesnt bring down the temp. guess changing hsf would be the solution. again, im concerned about the physical clearance issue. your comments guys.....

i strongly suggest u look at his list again.... and look PROPERLY

@evolutioner
specs looks good....the AXP140 should be able to cool down the i7. but where are u gonna get the low profile fan? theyre not easily available.

burner change to asus or something...samsungs are notoriously unreliable

im not too confident with the cooling of the Sugo. plus u kinda have to make sure the big card u wanna get will fit in there.

wait... the asus P5Q-EM can get already in this country ah??? dammit.

last time i was all over LYP n none of the shops had it. had to settle with my Gigabyte EG45M-DS2H.

haiz...at least the gigabyte board is working well with no hiccups. but still wish i had the asus though

EDIT: just realized....the asus only has 1 PCI slot...i need 2 for my PCI Wifi and Audigy 4 soundcard....heh...good oso i bought the gigabyte... laugh.gif

but then again...if i bought the asus i might not have problems with the onboard soundcard like i did with my gigabyte which forced me to install the audigy4.

laugh.gif talk about pictar spam ahahhahaa

ok...now go back and reupload ur pix and resize them to 800x600. then edit ur posts with the newly sized pix...coz ur current pix are oversized.

and some pix are repeated twice.

also.....again i say...me no like closeup shots.

would like overall view from all 5 angles. top left, right, front and back.

i wanna see the case as a whole. not bits and pieces here and there.

skeleton is old news bradder....i think someone posted in V2 or V1 laugh.gif

@darkages
same price region? doubt theres any decent ones.go for other models of the XQBox. theyre the best u can get at that price range. anything else will most likely be crap. the next up the line would cross the RM3xx barrier. if ur willing to cross it then mebbe the V350/V351 or the Sugos.

QUOTE(BuckRoger @ Jul 14 2009, 05:22 PM)
iv'e never use CPU cooler with fan ever since i'm on SFF (never use stock cooler neither ). Please correct me if i'm wrong. if using cooler with fan, the air will flow to the CPU while the fan frm PSU will suck the air out of it. (since the PSU is on the top of CPU)

doesn't the air flow will be in conflict?? <<please answer this>> thanks.

Things might get worse if theres is no gap between HSF & PSU. IMO..

errr...u can just switch the fan around?

someone already posted that case here...

fugly imho. dont really like the design....

though the idea is quite interesting. but still suffers from typical SFF problem... lack of choices when it comes to aftermarket hsf.

the ORBs are ur best bet....

the other coolers may fit if a fan isnt mounted....but once a fan is there ur gonna have problems...

search this thread for "orb" and ull find some pix of it barely fitting in.
