nope... so far i've chk UK is the most expensive place selling musical instruments/gears.
unless ur cousin going to LA or New York... New York is the best so far... drool.gif
but u can owes ask ur cousin to chk at tis 1 shop (cant remember d name) smwr Oxford Street, London.
d easiest way is to flip-thru d yellowpages...
but trust me, nothing cheap in UK...

Hi guys!

I'm looking for a shop that takes in guitars, anywhere in PJ/KL. I just bought a brand new acoustic guitar that's too big for me and would like to sell it off asap. Please let me know if there's such shops. Thanks heaps! smile.gif

Hey there....I'm interested to get an electric guitar as my 2nd guitar. I've just started playing a 2nd hand acoustic guitar for about 3 months now which got from someone i know.

Budget would be around RM1000 to RM1500. I wonder which guitar and amp would be best? Or should i get the package from ck music as everyone mentioned or pick it up seperately? I'm worried about the quality as it could reach such low prices with so many items.

By the way, i wonder whether should i go to The Guitar Store, cheras or CK Music, B.Bintang? Anyone has experiences on both shops? Service? Products quality sold? Price?

Sorry, just started learning guitar by my own during free time recently. Not much experience in music world..kakaka.

OK. here is my ultimate suggestion for the ones which are starting. Its nice and cheap if you go and get an "Aria STG" as your guitar (its a very nice guitar, u can get it from the shop in sungai wang around RM400) and as an amp you can go for anythins like, Ibanez amps, roland micro cube, Randall 15w. or u can get an amp moduler like line6, zoom and use your computer speakers. Never go for packages which any company offer u. they will give u the worst stuff ever. specially the amps are really bad.

Most of the left handed musician plays right handed guitars. But of course, you may get a left handed to start with.

Take a look on my signature. smile.gif

I'm left handed, but play the right-handed guitar more then a decade already...but there are pros and cons; I find it very easy to do tapping and pull-off techniques, while i think I might be at a limited speed when shredding (super fast strumming), even when I used those short base jazz picks, or more popularly those Paul Gilbert's picks...

My point is that, | feel very natural to play right handed guitar.
I tried a left-handed guitar recently, suddenly I was rendered to a full blown noob at guitars when playing it... doh.gif
I advise you to go for right handed position if you just started playing because it's not too late to switch, but if you played for months already on LH position, just stick with it...

This left handed guitar thingy is exaggerated a bit, all you need is to reverse the strings on any non-cutaway acoustic guitars,
but for electric, it's a different case because of the cut-aways and knobs on the guitars...better get a LH guitar on that note..

Hi guys, I'm looking for a new amp to get. Budget less than RM1k, preferably something that's less than RM700 (or 600 tongue.gif) if possible.

Thing is: I don't want any onboard effects (flange/delay/chorus etc.) EXCEPT for reverb. So ideally, an amp with two channels (clean/overdrive), 3 EQ settings, volume, gain, and reverb. Thats all I'm looking for. Any suggestions?

Orange CR20L. But the thing that doesn't have is the reverb, other than that.. it fulfill your needs.

You can take a look on the Marshall MG30FX.

It's more expensive than the Orange.
