Could anyone compare "Secret Amp" with ibasso D4 or D12? I know Enigmatic has D1 and D10 which are similar to D12.
I'm really interested in "Secret Amp" but I was also hoping to get a DAC since I will use it often with my laptop. Will "Secret Amp" be that much of a boost? I'm mostly interested in driving my Philips HP1000.

it all depends on you, mayb u dont like the secret amp sound? but i did prefer the govibe ppk over it, if not would have grab the secret amp.

How can I don't like it as I have not even looked at it, yet alone test it.
A picture holds a thousand words. By looking at the internals, I will have a fair idea about it's construction and expected quality and sound.
Surely by making queries on it, it shows that I am having an interest to purchase it if conditions and expectations are met.

I tried g3n0c|d3 unit once. But it doesn't suit my iem which is a im716

I searched on google for 'secret amp' and all I found were links pointing back to lowyat forum. If there any 'external' or 3rd party reviews of this secret amp I would appreciate someone giving the links to it? Thanks.

Finally my Secret Amp is back yesterday from bro Yuheng!! Thanks for the free upgrade bro!! Really a great amp. I literally stopped listening to my IE8 when the amp was not around.


I doubt there will be any. The Secret Amp is designed, made and marketed in Malaysia only. I doubt there will be reivews in other forums unless maybe if bro ClieOS post it in headfi...

The secret amp is not usually 'made'. It is made by request though. We have a demo unit. 100% authentically Malaysia made.
