I think my KSC75 is gonna stay on my ears more than any of my other cans as long as the Secret Amp is around. lol |

Hmm.. The Secret Amp ain't being marketed openly *YET* though.
Anyway guys, my amp reached roughly 90 hours burnt in time already. Expect a full review with pics or so once it hits 200 hours. Hopefully somewhere middle of this month I may be able to post up my review on headfi too. Want to give the amp as many hours burn in as possible since the sound characteristic is still changing. That rubber band really mood spoiler. >_> Hmmm.. Trying to think of something to put my future D1 and Secret Amp together. Thinking of Velcro but I don't wanna stick anything permanent on my beloved rig. lol |

Hmmm.. Looking at that band somewhat reminds me of something...
They actually look like wristbands. I'll probably DIY myself a double pouch to hold them together la. After my exams when I am free though. Darn... I wanna go to Jaben. >_< |

A slight bit update on the Secret Amp.
Seems to be back in production process. Hurm... Those who are still waiting should get their amp soon. How soon, not too sure, but probably after a week. |

QUOTE(icyfawkes @ May 14 2009, 08:26 PM) Okay review time... Battery life will be about 8~12 hours, mine usually lasting about 10. ok tried the crossfeed juz now...fliped the secret switch and maxed the crossfeed...fuwah...i noticed the diff in soundstage...so i tried toying around with the crossfeed...if you noticed...you can control the front and back of the positioning of soundstage....if that is not cool enough...i seriously dunno what is cooler than this then LOL ok so i fliped the secret switch off...the signature changed,it turns out to be more agressive...that means when the switch was on it was more subtle...now its agressive another thing i had not confirmed is the battery life...but so far im still using it from the 1st charge...no time to listen to music these days...too busy |

The amp maker contacted me about the Secret Amp, advised me to do a full 24 hour charge on the amp as it takes some time to charge.
Battery life should be longer than what I've mentioned. Stay tuned. |

Haha. Most likely it isn't fully charged yet, that's why the amp makers contacted me and asked me to retest the charging.
My bad on that part. Gonna give it a try after a 24 hour full charge. Oh wait. What are you doing here PcWork? Ain't you suppose to be studying? |

LOL!
Going to his place, listening to his speakers alone is worth the entire journey dy. Was nearly falling asleep though while listening to his speakers. >_> The deepest impression I've gotten is when I have tested his HD580 + my Secret Amp, and the HD580 + Special Senn Cable + Secret Amp. Gah. I am so darn happy I hit the trigger on the HD580 now. Can't get my fingers away from his HD650 too. Oh, and his PK2 with his DIY amp.. Grrr.... |

QUOTE(PcWork @ Jun 7 2009, 03:18 PM) lol.. don't like that.. compare to some serious hifi kaki who spend a lot on their rig.. mine setup is seriously "RUBBISH" to them. Hehehehe... one of them who owned AMATI said that...their comment is "can lah.. can listen.. but not good.. put bedroom when i wanna sleep consider ok lah" the main point is. i really know what i love. i really have passion on good music. so i don't mind. i love my setup as i really really enjoy them already.. that's more important.. else i will be trap into non stop ugprading.. good point is.. i am glad that yesterday afternoon u already know what you are after for.. so no point waste anythings besides the one u really want.. =P i spend too much on other things to find the sound i want. that's what i wish other friend who visit me don't ever make the same mistake.. My HD580's arrival most likely will be delayed till July. Sob. Ah well, maybe will look for a job in between. Makes me feel the wait is shorter. Who wants a Secret Amp meetup around Times Square area? |

Haha. Actually I wanna let some people who can't go down to PJ to try out the Secret Amp if areas like Bukit Bintang is much more accessible to them.
Not exactly a meetup, more like an audition. *grins* HD580.... T.T Gotta plan out a date though. Hmmm.. See how many people are interested first I guess.. Hehe. Would love to test out chingwooi's Klispch and IE8. |
