Woahh tension sial the medical is gonna take more time i might juzz submit myother details 1st and submit medical apon registeration day. I called up and i spoke 2 a guy 2day seemed really blurr. "Err siapa suruh adik bayar" I replaied "a malay lady said can so i did"

haha. I have 2 midterms. now is 6.37pm. Later 8pm-10pm at exam hall. Then another paper at 8am tomorrow... So sien... haha...

Does MMU accept Diploma holders from APIIT/UCTI ?
Can I pursue Bachelor in Computer Science with a Diploma in Information and Communucation Technology in APIIT as the qualification ?
If can, Can this enables me to straight away enter degree year 2 ?

I've been accepted by MMU... they offered me diploma in I.T .... but in OMR form I choose foundation in IT and foundation in creative .... and also i did tick for the section where incase i cant take foundation, have to go diploma ... but i really wanted to enroll to foundation... possible to change to foundation instead of diploma? how? thx for reading...

If you can meet all the craiteria for foundation, of course u will be in foundation... did u meet the craiteria?

like what gavin mentioned, if u dun meet the criterion for foundation, u r offered diploma~ i advice phoning them up and depending on the nature of the reply, go up to see them or forget about MMU~

there is a rumour going on in MMU now that for certain courses, the chance to get for intake to Beta level into Malacca for northern and KL area students are 0%~

yup ... 5 credits inclusive english math and one science sub and if i'm taking foundation in IT, i'll go to Cyber campus for that course ... and diploma in IT is at Malacca campus.

yes, I heard that rummor as well. My friends who are taking accounting, and wish to stay in melaka, has change their address. And those who did not change, all end up in cyber. So, I guess thats true...

Added on May 2, 2009, 9:06 pmsuggest you call them for conformation and ask them why? When did you submit your application? Because, usually for mmu, 98% of what you choose, you will get it. Enen if you finish foundation and wish to choose wad you want to study for degree, high chance your first choice would be the one you will get. Call for conformation and remember to ask them why you did not get it. Sexualpower is right. If you dun get it, suggest you to seek for other university. Don't waste time and money by going diploma and then degree.

IF you do this way, actually here are benefits and drawbacks. The drawbacks will be money and time. But instead, the good thing is, ou can credit transfer some subjects from diploma to degree... and then, upon grad from diploma, you will be exposed to industrial training which you will have working experience. Up to you to deccide, but widen your scope and seek for others...
