generally~ everyone can still choose~ but I don't see why other alternatives or institutions that don't have lack of manpower be at the top of your priority for a higher learning institution of your choice?

I graduated from MMU 2 years back, secured my 1st job in a MNC 2 weeks after I graduated.

Now I am with my 2nd job, already promoted to a managerial position in my company.

Come to think of it, MMU is really a good Uni. Never regret spending 4 years there. smile.gif To my fellow siblings, good luck and all the best in your studies.

So gavinfernando,

1) what do you think about the faculty of creative multimedia in MMU?

2) Does it have the same shortage of lecturer as in the engineering department?

if anyone wanna comment about it, be my guess.
*
1) Creative multimedia is kinda new... SO, there isn't much I can say about it tough...

2) Yes and its very true. Lecturers are going for two reasons. One is MMU management do not wish to increase the wages of the lecturers after some time as they say they are making loss. Second is because the management wish to transfer the staff/ lecturers to cyber. Since some already settle down, they do not wish to move.

i hav sum questions here...:
-hw many students r thr in dis uni?
-hws the life over thr? enjoyable, fun, excitin? or dull n boring? especially for an engineering student and a chinese guy. mind describe abit?
*
It have about 21000 students for cyber and melaka. Thats what I can remember but if u wana know, can go to mmu website. Life is up to u and depends how u wana make ur life to be man! Of course MMU still have the most active list of clubs and societies as they have 70 clubs and societies ( for melaka only). Average of minimum 3 events held every week! Engineering, is for the gurls to choose guys and for management is guys choose gurls. Engineering, there are a lot of guys and for management, lots of gurls. Accounting have most hot chicks i think.

most of the time, MNCs are big, when it comes to property, finance, plantation, manufacturing~ MNCs can be small too, especially in the service sector like sales, IT and consultancy where 1 - 10 people can have a branch in a country~ MNC is not totally secured when it comes to jobs~ MNC can re-structure anytime, means fire anyone anytime~ big gigantic berhad in Malaysia as compared to a Sdn. Bhd. can layoff thousands as compared to the smaller ones who may just give voluntary seperation schemes (VSS)~

Western Digital was the first to announce layoff months in advance Q4 of last year~

mmu accounting is quite ok. But utar also offer this course under Acca.
Cyber and melaka, the life a bit different. Cyber u will be more comfortable as the things there are still new (except computers).
Melaka, the facilities is bad but lifestyle for social is nice and good. thats what i could think of...
