is wearing contact lens advisable for someone who spends lots of time in front of the computer like me?

also my glasses' lens are pretty thick. does that mean i won't be able to wear contact lens? i think my power around 500+.

Are astig lenses necessary for my astig conditions?

I usually wear for 10-12 hours (normal office hours + occasional sports). and night time driving

I am looking for soft contact lens that can cater for myopia, high astigmatism and presbyopia conditions.  Any recommended solution? Am currently using iGel toric lens but it doesn't cater for presbyopia.

What would be a recommended replacement for igel toric lens then for both permanent and disposable type? Thanks.

I can't recall the exact number but it is somewhere between 1.0 and 1.75 on both sides.  I  know is on the high side.

Hi, I am currently wearing glasses and plan to get a contacts to wear occasionally. For my type of usage is it preferred to get daily lens or monthly type? Also, what are the recommended brands? I've only heard of Bausch and Lomb and only Airoptics after reading the first page. Will get a prescription from optician soon but would like to know some info beforehand.

Hi,

I am short sighted in right eye and long sighted (but not very clear) in the left.  Maybe astig as well. I think my dominant eye is the right one, so far is bit blurr with both eyes open. I had glasses made many years ago, but only use when driving in unfamiliar places to read road signs. I can't see near items when I put the glasses on, as the near sight in my right eye is affected by the glasses. I wonder if contacts will have same effect. If yes, is it possible to wear contacts for the left eye to see far, but leave the right side as it is or just partial treatment? Also, when I take off the glasses, I need a few minutes to refocus my eyes, as everything goes very blurr for a while. I assume contacts have same effect?

Have been using softlens 59 for  a while but find it very dry. Based on the above, softlens 38 sounds suitable as my eyes always dry. Am I right to say that?

Also compare to Biofinity?? or any suggestion for dry eyes, maybe need to wear up to 12 hours a day

i am keratoconus since 2002 and underwent cornea tranplant for my right and cxl for my left. currently looking for kerasoft lens. where/who am i  suppose to find

My last prescription from a year back is around 0.5D for both eyed, slight astigmatism on both eyes which i think is quite low but i don't remember exact value.

I'm playing soccer, can anyone recommend me good place to get proper contact and diagnosis of my eyes? Would I need special toric lens too?

Kuala Lumpur. Is normal daily disposable lens good enough since I have slight astigmatism? Expected price for a month supply?

(would last more than a month cause i would only wear it in training or match which is 5 times a week max).
