Wired = Copper line (it can minimized possible noise that intefere)
Wireless = No wire (Only possible way to eliminate noise or lower the noise is thru internal DSP like how 503 built)

Wired = Try to maintain unpolluted sound wave
Wireless = Try to eliminate possible noise from polluted sound wave and reproduction of how the sound would be like using technology..

Wired = Landline phone, ur house phone.
Wireless = Mobile phone
Difference? try to make a call to ur overseas fren with both your mobile and your landline, you'll get it...

Basically it's all about, Speed, Reproduction, Pollution, Noise, Sound that used to form a music for both wired and wireless music output
*
Agreed... hmm.gif

Really guys, whatever headphone you use, whatever brand, specs etc., A2DP (or whatever bluetooth variations of) WILL COMPLETELY BUTCHER your SQ (yes, Google will say as such)... So, IMHO, it's worth it for the wireless freedom (just got myself a handy Gigabyte wireless mouse due to this), never for the SQ... hmm.gif

Again, I take that most DSPs on wireless A2DP headies are there to process the noise due to this fact - just to make it bareable, nothing more... hmm.gif

If you want GREAT sounding wireless, get a set using KLEER technology, of which I know only the SleekAudio SA6 Wireless Combo, the Opera what's-it's-name and the Senn something or another... They are crap expensive though (though the SA6s are not bad for a mid-tier wireless IEM solution)... sweat.gif

But again this depends entirely on the source (in this case, the Tube, which again, sounds just fine to my unanalytical ears - I agree it sounds CRAP on flat EQ because it ISN'T really iPod flat... Tweak for best performance)... hmm.gif

Nope, no FLAC... Not even OGG IINM... sweat.gif

As for AAC, it can be compressed more without losing as much quality (compared to MP3) supposedly, yes... biggrin.gif

I'll just stick to crappy, sempit freq-ranged MP3 (oh the butchered bottom and top end) just for the convenience of not having to REENCODE my ENTIRE library (most of which in MP3, some in FLAC/APE/MPC)... icon_rolleyes.gif

Lossless is lossless, crap MP3/AAC mana can fight? But same as how VHS (crap quality) won against Betamax (best tape quality), MP3s is everywhere, for some Godforsaken reason... biggrin.gif

I'm just goin' with the flow... brows.gif

Blame Apple for not making the iPod play only FLAC... If so everyone might be sharing FLAC files right now (NOT taking into consideration the fact that the iPod might not even be THAT successful if it didn't play AAC/MP3... Look at what happened to the Sony Walkmans and their ATRAC3? In the end they had to add in native MP3 support asso what?)... sweat.gif

Be very careful when you're buying the tube. Seriously after my experience there I can tell its the most easiest place to get cheated cos they either charge really high price or if they give u a good deal, most likely they replaced the accessories.

Btw

I tried playing the FLAC/CUE file on my PC and compare with the same song but on .mp3

I can't tell the difference... maybe I need special audio equipment to unleash the full potential on the FLAC files sweat.gif

Now now redscorpion I know you're very tempted to start your magic but I think its quite unfair to promote ya know.. jack sparrow? I think we shld recommend everyone to get their product key from Garmin. I mean if they want to look for it, they will eventually do it on their own. No need to teach them
