QUOTE(cherroy @ Mar 27 2009, 11:20 AM)
To goreng (not manipulate as both is a bit different), you also need some skill and strategy to work it out, not that simple like got enough money will do.

Even you have large enough fund to do it, if your strategy is poor or technique to goreng is not good, you won't able to create the "excitement" out of it.
In goreng, what you want is to lure other "ikan bilis" to join you to form a good goreng, by then it is very effective, your 10 dollar is as good as 10,000 dollar of buying force.
That's why people want to spread some rumour around, to 'borrow' other forces/money to push up the price for them.

i remember there was a chinese saying on this...

but the history behind it was this dude were short on arrows, so they sent their ships or whatever it was over to the enemy... the enemy thinking was an invasion start sending a hail of arrows towards the enemy...

wala... free arrows, 0 cost n labour...

they just had to pluck out the arrows from the ship, like apples on a tree.

dont be so optimistic about the new pm or election, it can go the opposite way just like the new US president step drop even lower after step in. what can the new PM do (just a human being/ or wonders to improve the economy)

the more $$ the govt uses the less $$ they have until it depleted. spend spend on alot of unnecessary hidden things like election etc.

whether new pm or old pm, it wont help much in the financial crisis much. they are more focus on winning the election not much on financial crisis (just formality to show they are working on improving)
*
PM also have an important role, believe me when times are really bad you really need a leader to lead the country out of a jam.

This is a fact in 97' when Dr M led Malaysia out of its worse recession. Notwithstanding, the strong leadership he commands, the respect of the people and a huge mandate to lead the country, obviously this signals political stability and is condusive of growth.

The ABM era is marked by undecisive decision making, smaller mandate and political uncetainty that had been made worse by the financial downturn.

Furthermore the diference between Dr M and ABM is significant, when Dr M speaks abt the economy the market listens.. when ABM speaks abt the Economy hardly anyone listens.. probably on page 20 on some secluded column in the star maybe.

A leader liek Dr M, but of course there r things need to be changes and his by no means free from flaw.

Najib is the one to look to now.. hopefully he can lead Malaysia out of trouble times... any slight weakness from him will draw Malaysia into a more severe political stalemate.

i must watch at this counter closely now.

i think fly already, the price for jtinter always hover around 4.52 but high i think about 4.7-4.8 last time got watch this counter.

i will consider anything above 4.52 is high, but if u buy at the price is only for long term play not contra.

anything 4.1 can pick up

hope there is general election within 12 months time.

impossiblela, too much hassle and cost too much...

is only abt 2 to 3 yrs await, wait abit longer also no problem.

i think one of the major signs to look out for is the 3 by-election coming up, this will be the litmus test for the opposition.

To date quite dissapointed with the opposition, they sound and look like scattered rather than united and tainted with scandals ...

sigh... when will this end. vmad.gif

Resorts has yet to hit my 10% mark but i believe it can go further... very bearish trend at the moment...

TM waiting for dividend, though its climb quite abit i am reluctant to let go. I see the long term potential with this counter especially with gov backin, stimulus pack and "organic" growth (monopoly of the local tele-com market).

watching out for TMI, if market continues to stabilize and index recover above 1K... might consider.
Will pick up after the right issue should be a frenzy price grab...

If market goes the other way will pick up some bjtoto after its ex-dividend.

I could be wrong but i have a feeling that this entire week will continue to rally though, however the only caveat being the current index price is artificially inflated cause by the "stabilizing" political landscape.

Najib will have to be resilient and decisive unlike AB, his regime will probably incorporate certain elements of Dr M's atocratic regime.

His reign will determine whether he will form the next Gov in the next GE, continue weakness and gradual disintigration of the opposition shyould signal stabilitiy in time ahead discounting the opposition.

or

KLCI bottomed? remains to be seen.

or

temporary Euphoria
