Hahahaha. Painful la.. so many WTF-ing me.
Anyway, I didn't jump into LCL blindly. I've started to notice LCL about 1 week ago, after I bought Maybulk. At that time, LCL was already off its low. I was waiting for it to go down again after the UMNO elections. But it shot up instead.. until yesterday. So, if I don't buy now, maybe later the boat will leave without me. Sold my Maybulk to buy LCL.

Looking at their annual reports, they have been paying dividends of 10 sen (pre-tax, non tax-exempt) under the old tax structure. In 2008, maybe they won't pay dividends to conserve cash. If going forward, they continue to pay 10 sen (tax-exempt under the single tier structure), then it would be 18% dividend yield.

If I didn't plan to buy a property in these few months, I would have bought another 54,900 shares, making it a nice total 90,000 shares. Wah.. imagine every year RM9k dividend. Better than my bonus.

zomg... lol definately have to put LCL under the microscope...

atm i am deciding what to buy OSK, LCL and Bjtoto (last option Bursa).. being less hassle, volume not an issue and some returns along the lines even when times are bad...

currently focusing just on two counters Reosrts & TM, this two are now on auto pilot very little attntion.

i think i can take on one more counter, just which one i don't know... yet.

I can see the company is making loss (20+ million) on last quarter alone. Sorry didn't dig more into it, don't know what is its actual loss situation then.
If the loss is from operational business, it is indeed a worry.

Don't take pass history to judge anymore, as situation in near future with recession economy can be difficult for some company.
Dig more into the company account to see more clear picture of it. Don't need to rush in any counter (sai lang), if you aim for long term. You have plenty of chance to enter any stock if long term future turn to be good. If the stock can go triple or even more in few years time, to 2.00 (let say), buying at 0.55 or 0.60 or 0.70, make little difference only. Unless you just aim for short term gain, then different story.
That's my advice.  smile.gif

the cashflow/profit & loss for the 4Q is abit tight on the company, hints of possible right issues is abit discomforting.

It is not bit by bit.

The market suddenly at one time, people don't know why everyone rushing in, sky-rocketing a few counters just in matter of minute. Like 1,2,3 everyone go.

There is a report that said CPO stockpile will continue to drop, bullish for CPO.

actually really suprised with the FCPO performance didnt expect it to rebound this quick and strong i.e. anything above RM 2K

if thats true than probably i revise my estimation from June to Dec 09 contracts...

but by year end there should still be a glut that might cause FCPO to dip probably the trend would be more obvious around july aug sep oct nov dec contract (peak cycle)

QUOTE(Ka3tr0 @ Apr 7 2009, 04:35 PM)
Guys..i wanna ask something...say if i buy Maybank-OR rights 500 lots @ 1.08..once i execute it later i will have to top up 2.74 * 50000 right ? When can i execute ?
*
purchased right issue price: 500 x 1.08 = 540

right issue exercise price: 2.74 (500 X 2.75 = 1370)

mother share: 3.940 (500 x 3.940 = 1970)

540+1370= 1910
1970-1910 = 60
this is the amount u will need to top up RM 60 in order to exercise the right issue ...

otherwise ...

ur right issue will become 0 value.

*someone corect me if i am wrong*

lol didnt read be4 i answer... anyway am i right to assume the above formula is what i need to pay in order to be entitled for the mother share?
