Says 125% increase in share base, 49% core EPS dilution larger than expected but finalization of price removes uncertainty surrounding rights issue. Tips TMI's net gearing will fall to 70% from 140% post rights, thinks gross debt to EBITDA ratio will fall to 3.0X from 3.8X (assuming 80% of proceeds used to pare debts. "With this rights issue now over the first hurdle and the EGM later today likely to see the rights issue approved by shareholders, the market can once again focus on TMI's operations, especially Celcom, which makes up two-thirds of our unleveraged valuation of TMI." Shares last traded at MYR2.61 prior to one-day suspension.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--TM International Bhd. (6888.KU) said Tuesday it has set the price for its proposed 5-for-4 rights issue at MYR1.12 per rights share.

In a filing to the stock exchange, the mobile operator said the price represents a discount of 50.9% from the five-day volume-weighted average market price to March 23 of MYR2.28 and a discount of 31.7% to the theoretical ex-rights price of its shares of MYR1.64.

TMI said the planned rights issue will raise gross proceeds of MYR5.25 billion and involve the issuance of some 4.69 billion rights shares.

The company plans to use the proceeds to pare down some MYR5.15 billion of debt, about MYR4 billion of which is owed to its former parent Telekom Malaysia Bhd. (4863.KU).


NOTE:- save some bullet for this stock..can hold for long...very2 cheap ah...when to buy i dunno also...

Those who bought yesterday at pre-suspension price of 2.61 will probably face a downside risk of 10% when relisted.Just my guess.
