the hostel is quite far from the university .. the most nearest is near MITC area but it's for girls ..
If u r FTMK student then u might going to either pangsapuri murni or the durian tunggal

city campus is for fptt faculty and for some master and phd students .. got business / entrepreneur subjects
FKM is on the cubic while the rest in the main campus at durian tunggal

internet is free in the hostel .. you cannot subsribe streamyx due to some problem few years ago .. with your senior did not pay their bills ..

celcom is the most reliable . for p1wimax and yes i dun sure

the promoter of p1wimax (near medan selera bukit beruang) said the coverage is good . but i dunno

FTK will have the largest population by 2015.

Im a malaccan myself, got a place in UTEM once upon a time, but i declined the offer straight. haha.(can u believe it, i dun even noe Melaka HAS A UNIVERSITY HERE!!!)

UTeM is a technical university, not a conventional university. UTeM is a young university that only offers courses that relevant in science technology and engineering,but not in arts, business,medical & health and so on. With just a student population of 9k+, not much people knowing the existence of UTeM is normal because government never advertise it like private university did in the past.
young age + less publicity= less famous to others although UTeM is financial intensively supported by government. that's the truth. the only way is just let the time and UTeM's graduate students to prove it. as UTM UPM UM UKM and USM is slashing the numbers of undergraduate intake intensively, sure more STPM/Metrics/diploma student will choose UTeM when comes to make decision on filling the 8-course choice list.


* just knowing that even some final year engineering student from UM, USM, MMU etc. trying to use our engineering lab facilities because they can't find any in their university. for example:laser cutting machine

Just back from UTEM yesterday after my brother convocation .... quite good but I would say some of the new grads quite lack of discipline while waiting to take the scrolls... too many camera flash, parents walk around and few of them go to meet their son/daughter in the grads waiting seat, grads using hand phone, got parents pass bottle water (I know your son/daughter is thirsty, but for the other people, they not exhausted meh?)

the administration should be strict towards those parents and students.
