yea...2 years back the course fee is 11k++...but when i was offered a place back in 2008,the course fee has been increase to 13k(government subsidize 80% of the course fee and we only pay 20%) ...it is expensive .......when i found out that my friends who were offered engineering courses in usm/ukm, their course fee only about 7k+....donno,so confuse.......same cases happen to my friend who study in unimap and uthm,their course is also approx. 13k.......maybe the technical uni course fee is much more higher than the conventional uni lke um/upm/ukm......

majority of the student population is dominated by malay since most of the chinese(base on the reliable sources, 20% of the student population is chinese) are reluctant to accept any so called unfamous university which cannot be compare with the well long establish university such as upm.......however, what can i see here utem is done pretty well.

**fact:many lecturers in mechanical faculty are now in study leave.most of them are study oversea..thus, 1st year students have a very high chances to learn fresh+updated knowledge from these young dedicated lecturers..and we do have lecturer from university of cambridge gives lecture to undergraduate students in mechanical faculty**

yeah....i also gives them a very low marks......1 or 2 points out of 5 points which indicates the highest...........this semester, i give 3 subjects the lowest marks out of 7 subjects.........don't know why last semester why i am so generous, rating 4 points for most of the subject......

if you look into the map plan pic ,fkm and fkp is located on the bottom right corner.right hand side is the fkm and the left hand side is the fkp. these two faculties are the biggest fac. compare to other fac..

What?night classes?omg....i hope this will not going to happen.....i hate to have classes at night.......last sem i had experience it before......it is tiring after so much lab classes in the morning and afternoon.
hope that this will only apply to fkp student but not the fkm student....then,i can whistle all day long to celebrate

last sem i took japanese language from 8pm-10pm. i had no transport and i have to face a dilemma : wait for the bus and go back to the hostel for taking a bath/eat or stay at campus from morning 8am-11++pm.by the time i reach my hostel,it is about 11.45pm if i take the bus.
just imagine this will still happen again for the following sem: everyday travel from our hostel to the main campus.....

ya, i am the 1st year student.
from the namelist, 1/3 is good but are they all go for the interview, nobody know......haha.......hope that all did went for the interview.......

motorcycle is allowed in the campus.what you need to do is just apply the motorcycle sticker and stick it on your lovely motorcycle.if not,haha.....the officer from the utem traffic department will say hello to you and issue you a saman......
last time there are no bumper inside the campus...so you can use it as a racing track......but now i notice there are some bumper inside the campus already......

forget to say that they will issue you the warning 1st. after 2 warnings ,then you will get the saman

yes.during the final year will study turbomachinery. you will learn how turbine machine works such as the turbofan/turbojet for the airplane propulsion, gas/stream turbine using for generating electricity etc.......what you learn in the fluid mechanics,thermodynamics, and aerodynamics will be use to design and analyze the turbine and compressor......

for your info, the syllabus is in english and the teaching should be deliver in english too since the engineering reference books and teaching materials are mainly in english version.however, we found out that only some lecturer using good english when lecture.why?because of the students are weak in english?i personally think that this is the main concern for the lecturer to use malay language in class.

of course most of the lecturers are malay.u are in malaysia,right?haha

from what i see this year intake ratio between male and female student is quite balance.almost ratio 1:1
