U guys seems are new to Data storage. Anyway even a 1TB HArd disk wont give u 1TB

It only gives u 950GB ++++ something.
If in physical numbers its really 1TB.

Anyway here it is
24.2 GB (26,042,033,803 bytes)

in bytes its always correct

different brand ma different size lor..

There are two main reasons why there is a discrepancy between listed capacity of the memory card and what shows up on your computer. The most likely reason that your 8gB memory card shows up with only 7.8gB worth of capacity is due to the small discrepancies in algorithms and file formats by various operating systems. Also a portion of memory space is reserved for system files and data sectors for better memory card performance.

The second reason to your card indicating less capacity on the device is due to capacity loss. When manufactured, some devices and card readers were not made to support higher capacity memory cards. An instance of this is 2 GB or higher capacity SD card that shows a memory capacity of 1 GB or less. It is always recommended that you research information on the device manufacturer to verify the correct supported format and capacity.

or are all BP-6M batt the same as what i'm having? the middle part is 'fatter' than the side.

Attached Image

* as in the pix attached, i pressed on the side and the opposite side lifted up.

Haha, it means ur battery has swollen...its time for u to have it changed at the nokia service center....if not, then firstly u will experience very short battery life...and it is possible that it will explode!!! so it is better for u to change it....or perhaps juz change the whole phone...lol

* another step taken to test a swollen battery is to spin it like a gasing....if it will spin more than 2 sec, then it is comfirmed swollen...

as i remember long time ago, there a way for us to sms our batt serial no to specified no (maintained by nokia, i think) that will confirm if our batt is original manufactured by authorised nokia factory or not..

not sure if that method still available or not..
