mybe memory issue. been playing 7 hours straight should hurt ur xbox a bit, i think so.

Juz now i was on xbox live while editting my profile cause there's a new glasses for avatar. However after done with the avatar and back to the dashboard, i chose edit profile and going to edit my motto and the problem come, my xbox 360 freeze screen at there I cant do anything even the guide button malfunction so in the end i chose to press the power button and switched it off.
Then after 10 seconds, i turned it back and it booted up normally, no error sign given. My xbox (jasper) only 1 week old > < and this is the first time i experience freeze screen without playing game
Is this normal or ?

PS: no show any red light

neh.. thats mostly an online screen hangs. (mostly due to our line is slow thanks to our broadband)

Which means there's a possibly freezing screen problem due to the slow connection in our place eh?
Using 1mbps package currently =..=

yup. It happens all the time when I'm home (1mbps line also ) everytime I log in my xbox live account and if I straight away go in the online dashboard it will hang.... cause if not mistaken the system haven't load all the "content" hence it hangs there ...

I've hitted the same problem on fallout 3 before.

My problem on this is solved by performing harddisk maintainance/Chearing hard disk cache.

also I've tried one time my system crashed whenever I tried to online.

Found out to be a corrupted download data cache is the culprit and i just delete all these incomplete downloads.

I've tried to turn it on 2 weeks straight without a glitch (jsut lazy to save game)so do not be scared on overheat or whatsoever as mine is Falcon.

well guys, I'm now part of the XBox360 Jasper community

My xbox 360 Jasper also has this problem. If I'm not wrong, it has occurred 4 times already.

The first time it happened, I was so scared it might be 3ROD. But then after off and on again, it resumes as normal. So, the second time and so forth, I'm used to it, and I just off and on again if it happened.

But I'd hate it if it happened if I haven't saved the game. But until now, it happened during loading, don't know what's the problem...

mine without xtra cooling also warm, i was like playing for 8 to 10 hours and the it just warm too

i play like once or twice a week only roughly 4-5 hours straight,and i put my console vertical izit ok wont the thermal paste flow down like my previous zypher console?

i read somewhere, cant remember, they said positioning ur xbox to vertical is not good. let me google it back

Im putting xbox jasper in horizontal and also put the notebook cooling fans pad underneath them... altho some said it maybe useless but at least got something to cool the white box than nothing ..

why no mod discussion ? mod doesnt mean play pirated games only right ? mod can be many other thing such as home brew ? since lowyat forum allow the sale of modded xbox360 then why cannot discuss mod in these forum ? anyone care to share ?
