Not a problem xD...also it looks fairly cheap compared to some of the others.
*
well, the reason they are selling cheap is that possiblility they order in bulk, it is cheaper.

But bear in mind, the handling charges is very expensive, almost can buy another models... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

well from what I saw it depends on the weight...for the sheild liger it is only like 17$ to the US

so for the command wolf it is prob the same as the others which would be around $12 to the US which is fairly cheap from other places.

but for say the geno breaker or schwalz saber the shipping is around 40-50$ to US because they are much heavier I guess.
*
Yes...you are definitely right. The handling charges is base on the weight. If can, buy from shopping centre shops. If not, you have to pay extra $$ for the delivery cost and it is a pain. cry.gif cry.gif

so many things havent finish yet..I have a long way to go ... shocking.gif shocking.gif

The back leg not yet done !! this is because I study the manual, it is very tough and time consuming...
The head, to me I always put last, even for Gundam model. Cos the head is more critical. I want to be more careful when doing it.

Comments are most welcome.

Xnyhc73, ahtiven and Ed , thanks for the nice compliment, but I do appreciate if you all can give some comment.notworthy.gif such as where did I go wrong and which one should construct 1st.

Ed, your saber tiger the red part is very very red, colour very striking I wonder why my red part looks like chocholate colour.
Your tiger possing is very impressive. laugh.gif Your work also very impressive, i can see that the cutting part very nice, no marking at the sprue.

kindredd, many thanks to you the comment and advice you give, it is true the painting process is as unlike MG gundams cry.gif
while I was building it, I wonder how am I going to paint it !!! icon_question.gif
Before I paint I now already rclxub.gif liao

Thank you kindredd for the comment notworthy.gif

Have you checked the armor plastic for blemishes and sinkmarks yets? Koto kits are notorious for the incredible amount of sinkmarks. As a rule I usually sand all parts down to check for any sinkmarks to fix.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Gundam76: The parts look good; keep it up! Soon, you will have an awesome completed kit on your hands.

Edmaestro: Nice work there on the snapfit. The flat topcoat is an awesome idea!
*
Yes, I do aware of that,Gundam parts also have it. The only thing is to use sand paper to sand it to make it even.
Tips : use nail filing to sand it off OR use ice cream stick, then put double sided tape on and stick your sand paper grad 1500-2000, cut into the stick saiz then sand it.

Btw morgenthau, thanks for the compliment but I do really appreciate if you can advice me biggrin.gif , your work also very impressive too.
If I have any wrong doing, please comment, I like that. I am not perfect. Just apply what I know only.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

Ed work also very interesting, He is the hard core ! The pro, I hope my leave is been approved cry.gif so that I can go and see his master piece!! drool.gif drool.gif

Gundam76L wah very deep modeller talk goin on here. Good Good! Gundam76 I can't comment cos im not a modeller. I can see its a fine work you got there.

The reason you dont see the cut mark is i paint it over with gundam marker. lol

Kindredd. Yea i know you can cos u showed me the glow glow paint. LOL But with a fee?? nah its ok i can wait for the official one.

Morgenthau: Modeller has good eyes like yours. Though snap fit i did do some coating on some parts. but not all parts needed it, gained from bad experience.

my cupboard. Dont know when I can start since this red saber tiger giving me so much
Pain... icon_question.gif icon_question.gif .Anyway, It is a challenge, HMM is really very detail.
user posted image

In My opinion, Hmm models are very details, Even a very small parts also require to assmble. This is the challenge.
For me, The leg and the head is the most difficult part cos it requite a lot of attension to do so. especially the claws, the direction
have to be correct. Before I do any assembly, I study the manual. It takes me some time to which one is critical and which one is
not.

Thanks for seeing my work and comment are most welcome. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

starting to lose hope on gundams ald... lol  whistling.gif  anyway im not PRO modelling or etc.. just basic panel lining n minor colouring.
*
yes, Thats The challenge...HMM is a lot more parts to assemble, I feel that it is more worth to buy HMM...I too also shock...You have see the saber tiger yet. However, Geno breaker even more parts, BIG and small parts involve...hehe
Thats why I at this moment refuse to invest Gundam...maybe later...next year or totally no involvement..I dont know yet... blink.gif blink.gif

@ ED - my red saber tiger is not done yet, just left the rear leg and head only...Still got a long way to go cry.gif cry.gif

Quick question guys,

I am about 2 clicks from ordering from HLJ and I was curious about a couple things.

A.  How long would it take to get to US?

B.  Is EMS shipping worth it?

C.  Is that the cheapest most reliable place on the net?

Thanks for help in advanced.
*
well, you can always refer to HLJ FAQ . Just click and you can get all your answer you want.

EMS is better cos they will give you tracking number so that you know where is your item location at the present moment.
So, you dont have to worry about losing your item.

Lets not talk about the cheapest most reliable but most important things is getting your things safely to your hand. rclxms.gif

I Think I'm going to go with MK II because you can make it look like a regular shield liger if you want.

The only thing is MK II is much heavier so it will be like $40 more.
*
OOh...then you should get MK II , sometimes, I do feel like add another few bucks to get something worth while....

Almost end of the month. Budget time!

What are attendees bringing for Sale/Trade to the 3rd General Meeting of LYN Zoids Assembly at PWTC? Anything on the catalogs posted by Sir Edmaestro would be just a dream for me, I think.

HMM Zoids look like fun but with the putty, paint and glue needed? My toenail clipper and school knife would fee very unloved. biggrin.gif
*
Hai riderTEKRAN,

please dont worry about putty, paint and glue needed....Look at ED's work. He is also doing the master piece. Ed is doing a great job also. He doesnt have to use any of those putty and others and yet, he is doing a fantastic job.

I am just being fussy If I have to admit vmad.gif

HMM...YOU wont regret doing it. If you have any question you can post here and I am sure everyone here will be glad to answer you.
