i just disassembled my meter panel and found out that the cable with the stick to poke in the speedometer is abit greasy... i reconnected it then assemble back and test drove... it didnt rattle/flicker like before anymore..just abit only.. @_@

is that part supposed to be greasy?

yes... coz dat part is rotating part connecting the speedo cable and ur tripmeter... when the cable spins, it turns the tripmeter inside... if no grease/lubricant, u can hear noises due to friction between both surface...

im using wira speedometer cable...

alright..1 more problem..
my wiper has this problem of not moving or moving halfway then stop when i'm on INT mode previously..and recently it doesnt move at all..
only the relay will show the "tik tok" sound..
when im in speed mode then it functions normally..

after reading thru various technical talk pages.. some say is the wiper motor..some say wiper relay..
it's the relay right?since the wiper will move when its in speed 1/2..

edit: forgot to ask this also..
im abit confused with the term idle timing.. when u guys say idle timing..for auto car.. is it when the gear is engaged to N or D?as i know when i engage to D the rpm will drop abit..and N will increase abit..

another thing is cold start rpm..
how do u guys set it?i only know the carb's afr screw/air cond on/off idle timing screw... my car when cold start the rpm is around 700+ but its stable as i dont on the aircond.. but normally it should be above 1k right?
