Toshiba or sony won't have better performance for the same price among all others brand. They at least RM400+ diff.

Bro, lets say if I am to get HP whatever the model I forgot, with Nvidia 105M, how to register and where ?

Is 105M going to be a timebomb like 8600M GS ? My laptop only lasted 1 year.
Now with 3K budget, I can only get one thats 2.0 and 105M graphic card.
*
No problem with 105m till now. So far only 8 series give trouble.

okay, I'll recon that we really can't play games at 1920x1680 with that card... (even my 8800gt having trouble with it)

so If I take the second choice 1600x900 settings which only caused rm70+ is it better?

and for the game resolution settings I can still set it to 1280x1024 inside the game  icon_idea.gif

so for the higher resolution I'll juz use it to better fit the desktop and play movies....
*
I suggest u take the 1920x1680 then down size the screen resolution before gaming.

And...to PIRATES! :

I'm a Maxis Broadband user, i can say the performance is quite disappointing.
It will down or disconnected 1-3 times a day... sweat...
Maybe it depend on the area you go..PJ and Wangsa Maju's line drive me crazy...faint..

Toshiba Satelite L510 is currently on Promotion...
It's look attractive:

Free upgrade to 4 GB RAM,
320GB hard disk,
2yrs warranty,
with graphic card,
Ori Home Vista Premium,
Intel Core 2 Duo precessor
@ RM2599.....

Is Toshiba a good brand? I'm alright with the design.

Dell Inspiron 14 if want core 2 duo processor also 2599,
but only 2GB Ram and 1 yr warranty wooo...

any suggestion? Dell still the better choice?
but Dell Inspiron 14 lighter, right?

Added on September 26, 2009, 12:31 pmYa, somemore, Dell is giving normal graphic card only...
*

since i'm sxps 16 user, let me comment on it...
ya, u r right, it's a bit hot but is not a big deal for me as my previous laptop is compaq presario v3751au. i would say the heat is manageable. 1 thing that i already clarified a lot of times. the main source of the heat is from SOUTHBRIDGE which located underneath ur touchpad, NOT from PROCESSOR and GRAPHIC CARD. as for the performance i dont think i need to comment on that. the subwoofer is quite nice for a laptop. if u r basshead then i think u will like it.the dvd rom is extremely cool, in fact is my 1st time see this kind of dvd rom on a laptop. normally u need to press a button then wait for the trail to pop out but for sxps16, u just need to slightly push ur cd/dvd inside the rom and it will auto bring ur cd/dvd in. comfortable keyboard, quite quiet when u r typing and with back-lit, it looks so freaky cool. now let's talk about design and built. the design is nice, especially black but with 1 drawback, fingerprint collector( i clean my laptop once every 2 days).i would say it's 50% plastic and 50% aluminium. it has aluminium base and u can feel the metal most of the time.for me it's quite solid la..nearly forget about the screen.the screen also not bad and it's full hd. i will give 9/10 for this laptop. it definitely worth for ur money
