QUOTE(litnit @ Oct 3 2009, 10:36 AM) I like the 14" than 15.6".. but both of the RAM and HDD are so low..4GB 1066 DDR2 RAM and 320GB 5400rpm HDD will be my target. how is the warranty? 1year only? somehow i have no idea about benq performance, would it somehow like acer, hp, compaq...?? Thanks.. the ram has minimal effect and hdd can change yourself. warranty is 1 year only. you mean performance? as in spec or what? QUOTE(lokilim @ Oct 3 2009, 10:52 AM) Brand: ASUS Budget: 2k+- Specs: able to play some light game Size: 15.4" thx~ asus k50ab

my friend is using one, so far no problem, heat is minimal, the only thing is the lid is glossy and hinge is not metal like the other thinkpad.

full white colour seems rare on that budget. <2k, acer 4736, acer 4535, inspiron 14, compaq cq40
lag or not, depends on how complex your programming. school work should be fine with basic setup.
