@jackolantern,
Maybe because they're just updating the site? The rate plans have been fixed for now, I don't think there'll be any changes, not within the next few months or at least not from now till the launch! |

@stringfellow,
Pay additional RM99 for the unlimited data plan package. But that's over and above the existing rates. |

Yes the ValuePlus plans are more worth it. Please do note the iValue plans does not include SMSes. Hence, for every SMS sent out you will need to pay under the iValue plan.

@neekun,
You're absolutely right! I think this damn network carrier update thingy affects all Maxis users. I haven't had the chance to put a Celcom/DiGi sim card in my phone to check if it works - will do that probably later this evening or tomorrow @chinamobile, Locked data meaning, U cannot disable data connectivity? @starcrossed,
Ask urself what your monthly charges are and weigh the best plan according to your usage. A few forumers have already done in-depth research - just go through the different threads. |

@VonDrake,
The only way to get an instalment for the iPhone purchase is to call up your Credit Card company and see if they can give it to u. I know Amex gives out interest free installments for purchases up to 6 months if I'm not sure. @alexkwlee, U do not need to be invited - anyone can go but what's the point?! |

@mac.tay,
You mean after your recent update on the carrier network settings, you can still make changes to your APN? - as in the option is still available in your phone?! Are U with Maxis? |

@mac.tay,
It's weird. I'm on an official unlocked set from NZ and my APN settings disappeared after I updated the network carrier settings - I just checked again and it's ta-dah still missing! *siGh* |

@Gz',
The 333 minutes of free calls should be applicable for landline + mobile calls as long as it's local calls. SMS charges are separate at RM0.10 sen p/SMS. It is over and above the RM100 iValue Plan. Y don't U wait for the release of the iPhone 3G S instead? |

@Gz',
If that's the case then don't bother signing up with the iPlans. Go for a Value Plan. Assuming you go with RM50 Value Plan, U only pay extra when ur total bill exceeds the RM50. Within the RM50 U get to use it for calls + SMS + data. If U want to fully maximise the iPhone and think you're going to be using a lot of data connectivity, then subscribe also to Maxis' RM99 Unlimited Data Plan. PM me if for clarifications if U need anything. |

@jonest,
Your guess is as good as mine. If you're really interested in getting an iPhone 3GS, look up stringfellow; he's got 1 space for 1 more unit; coming in from Rome @ EUR 715 (32GB iPhone 3G S) |
