Fingers crossed ...my iPhone seems to finally be working after upgrading to fw2.2. It's been 3 days of troubleshooting...heh...

I have not installed SwirlyMMS for now as it seems to crash my Contacts and SMS app. Anyone who can report similar conflict with SwirlyMMS would be greatly appreciated.

This is my current jb app list that works fine with 2.2:

- SBSettings
- OpenSSH
- biteSMS
- Cycorder
- MxTube
- MIM (Make It Mine)
- Lockdown
- Categories
- Mobile Terminal
- Winterboard

BossPrefs works fine too. BigBoss already updated both BossPrefs and SBSettings to work with 2.2 two days ago. You'll only see both not working properly initially for Wi-Fi + 3G because the on/off status is not correct. Simply turn on and off and on again the toggle for Wi-Fi + 3G using either BossPrefs or SBSettings and it should work perfect after that.

I've spent quite a bit on apps, games, songs and videos myself. I'll shamefully admit that prior to getting an iPhone and being exposed to the US iTunes Store, I never bought any music online before. I was an mIRC dcc and Napster baby back in the days (young and very very broke tongue.gif) and I guess that habit kind of stuck. Well...better late than never. You realise though after you start actually paying for your music that you have to spend quite a damn lot of money for it blink.gif

You can try this.

MPlayer from Cydia - Play various mov file extensions mpeg4, h.264, wmv, mp3, aac, wma, real media. Is still buggy and frame rate is not very good.

The best is still thru iTunes.

Cheers

Another observation is that FW2.2 improves battery life. When SSh and Wifi was turned on in FW2.1, my battery would drain like nobody's business but it seems to be greatly improved on FW2.2...

I really like the podcast feature for the 2.2. Means you can download great free content right off your phone but whatever you do, do not download Jamie Oliver podcasts off of iTunes in the middle of the night. Makes you effin hungry...
