Unfortunately, there are'nt any. Viable ones at least. iPhone's BT function is limited to calling and answering clls only, the ability to stream stereo quality audio is made possible by that dongle you linked to, and from experience, the audio quality is shrill and tinny to say the least.

Also think about the implication on battery life if there is such a thing as A2DP audio streaming on the iPhone. It is already impaired by the humongous battery demands from the 3G chip, I can only shudder to think what the damage would be from A2DP streaming.

Wires are the only way ATM. Pair the iPhone with quality cans, and you'll get better result than buying into those dongles.

The Mac ads you mean? Yup, watch them everytime I turn on my Mac, I like the "Choose A Vista" ad. The last comment by Mac, "Did'nt you make this?" remark totally get me laughing for some reason. His expression is priceless. laugh.gif

Ouch! Travelling up and down KL-Australia, is not what I had pegged in mind when I decided to own an iPhone.

Me? I'm doing my thing, the usual. The rest? A bit more subdued than before, all thanks to ungrateful arseholes who do flybys and carpet-bomb those who worked hard on the forum, with remarks like mod-wannabes and such.

Fall Out Boy (if you're into that kind of music) just released their new album, "Folie A Deux", and there's this nice song by them titled "I Don't Care". Perfectly describe my indifference towards these flyby arseholes. Cheers! thumbup.gif

Those on a Mac, you can try using Handbrake 0.93. The new version includes support for WMV as well. I love Handbrake because it has presets for all different video compressions you need for different devices. Want to create an Apple TV compatible movie, at the best resolution/bitrate? Easy! Just click the corresponding preset and click Start! If you want further control over the bitrates, or muxing of the audio to pseudo-surround formats like Dolby Pro Logic II, Handbrake provides that too.

If you're willing to go one step further, tag your movies with MetaX. That way, when you see your movies in iTunes, it comes pretty with artwork and all, especially in the Grid viewing mode.

Both Handbrake and MetaX are free.

A few hours till it's 25th this month. To those celebrating, have a great Christmas Eve dinner and Merry Christmas tomorrow. Nowadays, presents may not come underneath your Christmas tree anymore, they may be in your iTunes redeem code listing! laugh.gif

Merry Christmas all!

Or wet places. Those with sweaty ears, take heed. the rubber rings will deform and as it dries back, will contract back again. This constant cycle will result in it peeling off. If you can find one, get those soft earphone caps that covers the section you put on your ears.

Steamboat(large amount of liquid) + iPhone + laptops all around = not good bedfellows.

Just IMO. I don't mind the venue, but as a point to make it as a TT for iPhones and its related activities (which I assume includes tutorials and how-tos explained on laptops) is not a good idea, IMO.

Then again, I may not be able to attend any such TT in January/February, Stateside's calling.

I dont mind a gathering of like-minded people, but it should not be about iPhones on "potentially hazardous" tongue.gif places like that.

Happy new year, guys!

I'll be out and about with close friends celebrating the coming of '09. Makan first then enjoy! Don't drink and drive......., in fact don't drink and try and type on the iPhone, it will get ugly. tongue.gif

Here's for the best phone I've ever have the honor of using, and the best is yet to come in year 2009! This phone is the most I've spent in terms of apps, added functionalities and entertainment media, and it still keeps of giving and kept on going! Three cheers to the Aifontriji! rclxms.gif

What kind of stupid business model Apple would be running when one guy buys the apps, while a million others simply leeches the thing for free? Like you buy Astro and me and a million other guys can simply drop by your place and watch your Astro for free? Fair? Think man, think! Jeeeezzz!

There's a reason why you have to create and sign in into an iTunes account to purchase and sync into your iPhone. The apps are tied to your iPhone(s) and/or iPod Touch alone. Any other iPhones or iPod Touch that is not tied to your iTunes account gets no such privileges of using apps bought under your account.

No gas, the car wont move. No carpool when the car stays in the garage.

Next you know, you'll get people stealing gas, siphoning off from other people's car gas tank.

If you dont get the analogy, car = iPhone, gas = iPhone apps, carpool = "sharing" apps. With "sharing" here being closer to pirating than the good deed people usually associate it with.

The thing is, from the way sugen posted, and from his follow-up PM, it looks like people like sugen think it is acceptable, even CELEBRATED and GLORIFIED, to provide avenues and ways to defeat and go around the established legal system. The only reason why you dont see them boasting about their "achievements" is because I thank GOD that a lot of you guys here are with me with it comes to supporting original products. Try doing that in the other sections in this forum, and you'll guarantee you'd get verbal "cabbages and rotten garbage" thrown at you for telling them it is wrong to support piracy.

Typical Malaysian.
