If JDS can avoid the early cannon, then he can win and I believe he can handle the early bombs. Of course, if Carwin improves his cardio then he will do better but I think JDS is better than him overall.

how about Jones vs Anderson Silva? or Cain Velasquez?

JDS for sure..

I personally believe Cain has the abiity to close in on Jones and smack him with his vicious strikes. At the same time, Cain has the scrambling skill to get out of the ground, he did that to Lesnar which is incredible in wrestling, so he has the chance against Jones. One thing about Jones is that he doesn't really throw punches(only elbow most of the time), he uses front kick to determine reach and his desire to gain highlight with unorthodox strike will eventually doom him. In the Rua's match you see his back exposed to Rua, if he exposed that much against Cain(or even Silva) he will get hit. And the problem of Jones's front kick is that he will land nothing against someone with good footwork and circling all the time.

As for Jones vs Silva, Jones can win by grinding out Silva like Sonnen did. As you can see Silva's takedown D is probably the weakest skill in his MMA skillset and unless Jones has Sonnen's level of weak submission defense, he can grind out a win by takedown and top control, Fitch style, to win against Silva. If he insists for his highlight reel and stands with Silva? Then ready for another highlight of Jones...with him on the receiving end.

I still would like to see Jones for 3-4 more fights first before I believe that he's the superior Goat, I want to see he fight against the top dogs of LHW. So far he has one down but I want to see more from him.

As for shane carwin's one punch power, yes, he has it. All he needs is cardio. If he has cardio, he has more time, which equals more attempt to connect that "one punch". If he doesn't pump his stamina up, JDS can just circle and defend for the first round and eat him like hot dog for the next two rounds, ending and winning in a 29-28/30-27 decision even if Carwin can hold on till the end.

I don't think Daley can still fight after just a minute rest, when the camera takes on Daley after like half a minute of Diaz celebrating, you can see that Daley needs two people to lift him up and he is still on rubbery legs by then.
