BJJ legend, world champion and 2 time ADCC champion Leo Vieira will be in KL to conduct a 2 day seminar, with 3 sessions, Gi, No gi and MMA on the 24th and 25th October 2009. Each session will last for 3 hours. There's a BJJ school in Sabah, KK in particular, called BJJ Borneo. They are an excellent school with 2 great coaches and a bunch of really really good students. A number of them even cross train in boxing etc. In fact, one of their members recently took part in an MMA event here in KL and won. No ground game = No MMA. No two ways about it. You have to start with a base. If you already have a kickboxing/striking base, then even more reason to learn the ground game. |

Which is why i was mentioning that you should have a starting base(boxing/muay thai,wrestling,bjj), as opposed to just looking for an 'MMA' class. How can anyone teach you 'MMA' if they know little about grappling? |
