I've tried HDF Quicksand, Scheme Cream, Claymation, and Sponge Wax for my fine hair. Quicksand and Scheme Cream are good, but the other two offers very little hold for me and bog down my hair.

I only have a Scheme Cream sample though, and it looks like it is out of stock everywhere in Malaysia. Anyone can point me to a local source that has in stock? Buying from HDF directly has hefty shipping fees.

Or is there another product out that is similar to Scheme Cream? Something that is light, goes on easy, does not weigh down the hair at all, medium hold with a bit of natural shine?

A little review of what I'm using
user posted image

Previously,I was using Gatsby moving rubber.
Encounter a few problems while using it.
1. Super duper hard to wash.
2. Super greasy at the end of the day.
3.Ultra sticky.

Nevertheless I continue using it because the styling strength is good.
Then i bought this hair jam.
I like it. Never encounter any problems I mentioned above.
It's very easy to wash off, contains powder to absorb sebum and your hair would not get greasy at the end of the day in this hot humid weather and less sticky compare to the rubber.
And it's cheap.
only tried the black one.
Next time I will buy the red.  biggrin.gif

I have been using L'Oreal Silk & Gloss Volume Mousse and Gatsby Moving Lock Extra Hard Spray for quite sometime now after i found out that Gatsby's Moving Rubber Hair Wax are too sticky and hard to wash for me.

Not just the packaging look classy and expensive on your dresser, it also do the job well to maintain your hair the whole day even in a very humid place.

The best thing it doesn't turn flaky like dried sperm when you made mistake spraying it too much or on wrong spot. This is important cause after spraying i will comb some hair and use hair dryer to blow dry for quick fix some strain that i want to shape.

Just buy from guardian, they always hold weekend discount price up to RM15 or less, i will sapu the whole rack into my shopping cart.

Been using different products recently, before this Hanz De Fuko Claymation, then now Byvilain Silver Fox.

Claymation I feel it's harder to apply, maybe coz it's too dry, and the look is too dull for me, not enuff shine, I like it to be a bit shiny. So I went for Silver Fox, by far, Silver Fox is the best hair product that I've used.

But it's gonna finish soon, looking to try other product, any recommendation? Prefer something similar to Silver Fox. High hold, medium shine, easy to apply. hmm.gif

For something lightweight and some shine, need to use hairspray.

Have you tried sea salt spray?gives the sandy texture of quicksand without much weight and finish off with tiny amounts of a strong wax for hold

How is scheme cream?I have been using quicksand for a few months now but can't tahan the smell

dont use the cement clay, i feel you should start with the regular pomade. medium if your hair is soft, and strong hold if your hair is wavy or stubborn. you can stick to layrite, that brand is fine.
