I notice the browser very buggy like it tends to freeze up a lot. Any other browser worth trying out?

There is a reason why its call a standalone unit. Not all of us need a nuvi?
*
Well its simple, the buyer should ask him/herself what do they want...

if they want a phone that does many other things = Nokia 5800XM
if they want a GPS that works fast/without lag/stable = Garmin Nuvi

for me personally I wanted a GPS but I lazy to carry it around (I wouldn't dare keep my GPS in my car) so yeah I got one that I would carry around! The tube! laugh.gif

whats this arguement about gps unit vs 5800 doh.gif .. it stupid la ... 1 is a specialize another is jack of all trades .. if u wan a super gps unit go buy gps unit and not the 5800 doh.gif .. its a just extra function embedded into the phone .. its is still in the end a phone doh.gif ...

if i say my PDA cannot fight my LAPTOP make sense or not ?? lulz .. what kind of mentality is this doh.gif ...
*
lol chill la... we just want to feel good about the GPS in the tube. of course deep down inside we know the difference between a nuvi and the 5800 laugh.gif

Random Tip:

To use Opera Mini on fullscreen for your tube. Go to:
Settings > Application Manager > Install Apps > Opera Mini > Options > Suite settings > Select On-Screen keyboard to OFF

Found an interesting article:
Why you don't need an antivirus on Symbian s60v3/v5

QUOTE
As you may know, S60 3rd Edition is based on Symbian OS 9. One of the new features on this new operating system is Platform Security (PlatSec), which is supposed to protect our devices for malicious programs. One aspect of these changes is the platform security enhancements. These represent an evolution of the existing perimeter security model of Symbian OS and help ensure the stability of the platform, providing even greater protection against malicious or badly-implemented programs. If PlatSec is designed to protect us against malicious programs, do we need an anti virus application? Until today, I havent heard a virus that attacks Symbian OS 9 devices yet. If you check virus definition database from Trend Micro web site, there are some viruses for Symbian OS already, but all of them attack pre-Symbian OS 9 devices.

PlatSec FTW!

I dunno what talking you. Its either the user is too newbie or i am speechless my Nokia phone since 7650 never get virus until this very day. If you dont simply download rubbish u wont get any virus.

Virus always have compatible issue because of the OS keep changing example virus for Symbian OS 9.3 doesnt work on 9.4
*
actually its true... even before I copy the files into my memory card my PC antivirus will already detect it..

but I have heard of viruses over sms.. don't know if its true

I'm now using lady gaga - poker face.... edited into a ringtone la.

If you guys want a good app to edit the song to use for ringtones I suggest Goldwave.
Its very easy for cutting up songs so you get just the chorus or stuff like that. I use it for all my audio editing
