QUOTE(Eiraku @ Mar 19 2009, 12:12 AM) Yep, had to personally mod the font first so that it will show most of the symbols we use... Hard work man... But every day I look at the curvy, funky font + it's equally nice Japanese Kanji (it's actually a Japanese Font to begin with) - well worth the pain... how do u change the font?

QUOTE(daisuke @ Mar 19 2009, 12:17 AM) how do u change the font? Google "fontrouter"... Be careful though, ALWAYS INSTALL INTO PHONE MEMORY (if you decide to go on with this hack) OR there is a chance that your phone will enter the endless-cycle restart-of-doom...

Hi, I new here. Wish to getting my new tube by 2molo. But a stupic Q, What diffrence between Red Tube and Blue Tube? And for Garmin, is that FOC or we hav to pay if we download it from the site showing here? I know this really stupic Q but this Tube topic really make me reading till crazy as the topic already goes to v11. Love live 5800!!! Thx.

someone post the new version of firmware
Added on March 19, 2009, 1:02 amThere is a new firmware update for the North American version of the Nokia 5800 available at NSU. The new firmware version is v20.2.014 and the most important improvement is that the 3G reception problem have been fixed.
Edit: Changelog by SymbianWorld
Changes noticed so far:
* geo-tagging now available * secondary camera now available * Dictionary, Search and App. update have been added * new icons for Podcast, Download!, Music and Switch * Telephone’s keypad has a new design * ‘Search’ searches for Internet content as well as for your content on your phone * touch screen is improved * bug fixex * general operation seems smoother, screen rotations faster * playing back videos had less hiccups, especially on YouTube, where Web on the 5800 now becomes almost as good as a dedicated YouTube client

I know this really stupic Q but this Tube topic really make me reading till crazy as the topic already goes to v11. Love live 5800!!! Thx. Between red or blue tube there is only one difference (other than the colour of the casing)... the difference is the theme. Blue tube comes with blue theme and red tube comes with red theme but anyway it doesn't matter since you can download either one and install anyway. The garmin installer can be downloaded for free. The usage of GPS is free (besides the 10~50cents of A-GPS if you so choose to use it).. but to activate the Garmin XT you need to buy the license which costs USD$99. If you want to find other means of activating your garmin then *ahem* thats your own call la.. QUOTE(jass80 @ Mar 19 2009, 12:55 AM) The v20.2.014 is update for the Nokia 5800XM NAM model (NAM = North America). That model is different from ours as their 3G system is different. So basically this update isn't for us.
