seems like Mad Max not grossing alot in US despite its 2nd week debut

just watched it few hours ago.

I URGE YOU TO SEE IT IN CINEMA AND EXPERIENCE THE AMOUNT OF MADNESS AND INSANITY!!! I AM DEAD SERIOUS!!!!

The plot is very very easy to understand as the scene goes by, like hot knife cut into butter, never seem sluggish for even 1 minute. In contrast, The Age of Ultron.......

No words nor sentences can describe how good the action scenes are. Big, fast paced action yet still can clearly know what is going on; very little action movie can achieve that height, include those big movie with billions USD budgets. It is like eating a very nice meal with adequate mount and knowing how good it taste with each bite.
The guitar frame thrower and the sound effect is AWESOME!!!!
The love scene and bath scene is just nice, no awkward kissing scene 
Furiousa is much much more badass than black widow

Watched it again this time Atmos+D-Box... abso-freakin-lutely amazing!

Just as pumped as I was the first time throughout the movie.

This is my first ever D-Box experience and it was one helluva unforgettable ride. 

This movie feels like borderlands the action movie.

Yup. Gearbox's "Borderlands" and iD Software's "Rage".


My first D-Box and it was way better than I expected. The sync between the action scenes (fighting) and the vehicular warfare was spot on. Even when the 'dead body' was thrown off the hood of the car in the end was in sync with vibration. 

Saw it in 2D then Atmos, now planning a third viewing in 3D but the shows are fast becoming lesser.

dunno shud i watch mad max or tomorrowland before i go outstation.. which one is better to watch? bringing a lady, so hopefully wan to watch something that is easier to understand as she doesnt like complicated plot movie.

The soundtrack is just AMAZING!!...Kinda makes me want to watch the movie again, even though been listening to it everyday since watching the movie

Right, so it's a little obvious y'all don't have very much concept of what constitutes as the story here. Hollywood has your brains drained.

The story was nonverbal for a lot of it. This is the way action movies were MEANT to be. And the characters didn't sit around regurgitating the plot in clever little quips and one-liners. From the enthusiastic and fanatical Nux, who wants nothing more than to die for his savior, to the old woman who wants to replant the world, there's a little bit of story everywhere.

Take for instance, the beginning when Furiosa first takes her detour. She doesn't tell anyone. She doesn't say anything. "Detour" is all she says. Everyone is confused. They question her. But she's the boss. Yet, you CAN see it in her eyes. She keeps them forward. "Detour" she lies.

And yet, somehow, they enemies are organic. They're mindless drones. They cheer each other on to their deaths. One asks Furiosa, "What have you done? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" as the entire army chases after her.

And the metaphors. I mean. Did no one pick up on them? We have Religion. Immortan Joe and his fanatical followers. Giving young, aimless men a cause to die for. A place eternal in Valhalla. We have Green, the fat and gout-ridden oil lord of Gas Town. And then War, the blinded leader of the Bullet Farm at one point even screaming I AM JUSTICE as he shoots blindly into the night.

And then Nux's slow loss of faith and realization of the destruction of his life how he knows it. The slow bond and trust between Mad Max and Furiosa. Enemies, Reluctant Allies, then Comrades. All spelled out in a way that's neither condescending or cheesy.


There was a story all right. LOTS of story.


Y'all just missed it cause it wasn't spoonfed to you through incessant, forced scenes of dialogue, action one-liners, and dragged out standoffs. This is THE ULTIMATE action movie everyone has ever wanted. Main characters that shut up, do their part, while the story unfolds in the frenetic action before them. It's a game changer.

If it's still above you, don't worry. Marvel or DC will push out a pretty little pg-13 action movie for you, complete with funny lines and long scenes of dialogue contrived best they can to spell every damn thing out for you so that way, god forbid, you actually have to THINK for once in your movie going life.
