Maybe........ It could be the right lower, because my Pinky is scraping the Mouse pad.
B-T-Dub, I think I have to get a giant Goliathus Control to replace my Mantis speed........
I'm using a smaller Control mat and it seems to be much more accurate without the loss of Speed.

Maybe Transfer the Mantis to my office workspace instead.

Sigh, I notice then when I left click, I also tend to push the mouse forwards because of the hump.......

Have to really re-learn the way I use the mouse.....

Hmmm....... I'm now not sure if it's the mouse problem that it moves when I click......
Any Mamba users experiencing the same problem?

Added on May 26, 2009, 12:09 pmHmmmm...... apparently it's a common problem.

QUOTE
RAZER MAMBA : WINDOWS XP : RESOLUTION 400000923

Q:  When I click rapidly on my Razer Mamba I sometimes see the cursor move or jitter a bit.
A:  The Razer Mamba’s tracking sensor is extremely precise and when it is set at high levels of sensitivity, can sometimes detect movements caused by the slight shifting of your hand or the pressure you put into the mouse pad when you click. This effect can be amplified when using softer mousing surfaces as the precision of the sensor picks up even the slightest movement.

Most users should not experience this issue but a small proportion of users who hold the mouse and click a certain way will experience this. If you experience this issue, we have a round Teflon O-ring you can add around the Mamba’s sensor to help prevent this from happening. If you would like one of these Teflon O-rings please contact Razer Support at the following link.

Please be sure to include your address and we will get a Teflon ring sent out to you ASAP.
I already requested for a Teflon ring. Hope it comes soon.

Hahahah. True.
Will probably buy a Destructor pad once my Paycheck is cleared next month.
My Mantis is getting waaaaaaaaay dirty from years of abuse anyway.

Added on May 26, 2009, 2:48 pmAnyone read Razer's Twitter?

"New product announcement in two days. We're completely stoked. Hints - it's black... and... well, stay tuned."

I retract my previous statement.
It's COMPLETELY gone now.

Seriously, pair your Mamba with the Destructor pad. You won't regret it.

enriquelee, The "Jitter when Click" is not the issue of the mousepad, it's the way you hold/click the mouse. I already posted this a few pages back:

http://help.razersupport.com/us-en/resolut...y&rid=400000923

Sidenote, I switched to a Destructor and the jittering stops a little, but I also changed the way I grip the mouse......

enriquelee, it's the same Teflon ring like mine. I already requested......

But all you have to do is to modify your grip a bit. Really, with that, it makes all the difference.

Hahahaha.... working for an event company that handles the Monsoon Cup. Sent here to Korea for their own Korean Match Cup race.....

Nothing to do with gaming........

I WISH I was sponsored.... I'm a really CRAP player, but just love using Razer products because it's so cool.

Thinking of getting a Megalodon once it's out. I have a sudden urge of getting a headset.

And how I WISH I can gt a free mouse from Razer.
Today, I'm wearing FULL Razer gear to the event site (I'm posting this from the Race Office), so will snap a few pics. Heck, I might even get featured at Rult of Razer tongue.gif

I have everything from the Mantis, eXactmat, Goliathus (2 actually), and Destructor.

I mostly opt for control, because I need precision in my line work work, rather then speed. The Destructor so far is my new fav, because it really is great to use with the Mamba. But my eXactMat is also very handy. When travelling, it's definitely the Goliathus.......

For the moment, I don't need the Sphex, but you never know.
I have waaaaaay too many Razer mouses.
