sign0006.gif  Anyway, Public Bank is not the sole bank charging RM8 for an ATM card. CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, RHB Bank, AMBank, Alliance Bank, EON Bank, UOB Bank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC all charge RM8 too those who have an ATM card issued once a year. Only Maybank and Citibank ATM card is annual fee free.
*
Maybank has changed the ATM policy. You can now opt for unlimited withdrawal by paying RM 8 annually. Otherwise, you just stick with the default configuration - 4 free withdrawal monthly; beyond that will be charged 50 cents.

This is the latest ATM policy I'm talking:

New! Maybankard Bankcard service charge

Effective Mar 26, 2009, Maybankard Bankard cardholders (ATM Card) will have the option to choose between unlimited free ATM cash withdrawals for only RM8 annually (per card) or maintaining the existing 4 free ATM withdrawals per month; with RM0.50 being charged for each subsequent cash withdrawals during the month.

All you need to do is to fill up the Maybank Card ATM Form (ATM56) at your nearest Maybank branch and your ATM card service charge will be updated accordingly.

if your salary deposit in maybank, should be easier to approve.. because they have in-house record how much you earned every month..

I'm kind agreed with you on this. I have plenty MBB products: Hire Purchase, Saving, FD, Auto Insurance, Credit Card.

If you want to close your account, they charge RM10. haha. The best way is to just withdraw all the money.
*
After certain period, you can close it for free right?

Is there any 1 time fee or charges if we use MBB 0% installment plan?
*
So far, I didn't charge for processing fee. Maybe the merchant (Dell and Harvey Norman) absorbed it.

How do you do it?

Search under Interbank Fund Transfer. Select the payment type as Credit Card Payment.

I notice that when you swiped your card on CIMB terminal, the transaction is generally approved faster compared to other bank terminal. My observation only.

For DA usage at overseas, you need to notify the CS to enable the overseas flag.

Well yea, DA is a decent card, but recognition can be a problem. I had this Toyota fella asking "Direct Acces boleh?" for some instalment plan, when I kept trying to tell him it was a CIMB card -.-
*
Gosh ... that's definitely not a pleasant experience.

It's normal. Don't worry.

The remaining points will only be awarded once the promo ends in mid-July.

When I drive back to hometown, I'll pump for 2 to 3 times a day but not with DA.

So far didn't face any problem with MBB Petronas and MBB Ikhwan AMEX.

Recently I got my purchase with DA to be converted to i.pay plan successfully. Paid one time interest and there's going to be a penalty of RM 50 if I cancel it in later stage.

Yes, KFC uses paypass. But I thought VisapayWave was a combination of visawave and paypass.

Nevertheless, I've tried to ask if I could use my paypass at KFC and Starbucks and both the cashier just told me that I couldn't sweat.gif
*
It's true that Visa paywave is a combo feature for Visa Wave and Mastercard Paypass. I have no problem of using Paypass card at KFC. Just want to try on a Paywave card.

I tried at KFC Carrefour Seberang Jaya.

I think the cashier did that correctly. She did it twice. I touched my card once the reader showed "Please touch your card (something equivalent)."
