@ask_dino,
Track record in what?! Usually, banks are more concerned about oour track record and credit ratings. |

@jack2,
Yeah.. it's best if U asked them to check about it. U wouldn't want someone to be spending the $ and then U carrying the liability |

@skincladalien,
Interest is charged on outstanding unpaid amount. In this instance, it would be RM500. |

@jack2,
If I'm not mistaken, a forummer in the past has already cautioned the AmBank cash rebate is up to RMX (RM100,000) if I'm not mistaken so perhaps it's oredi been utilised. Am not too sure though so perhaps you could wait for someone else to respond. @bingozero, If the merchant you're getting it from is offering it to U then there's no need to contact the bank. |

@bingozero,
If the shop you're buying from offers it, it will be on your invoice that you'll be making instalment payments. |

@bingozero,
Act, I never made an instalment purchase for handphones before but when I did sign one for a friend for her HP laptop purchase, it was stated in the invoice I'm just assuming it'll be the same for other items. Nevertheless, U could always check with the shop you're making the purchase from. |

@inuyasha88,
Honestly, there's no status in owning CCs. Look at the people who gets into trouble because of CC. Also, the HSBC Premier card is just a card; plus its design is not that great either I don't limit the amount of $ I spend on my CC so as long as I have the $ to pay the bill at month end. So sometimes I can spend RM100 on it, and some other times, I may spend RM10000 on it. It's seasonal lah. |

@inuyasha88,
Er.. and what status are we talking about?! I've a colleague who probably can qualify for a Platinum Amex but he refuses one because he prefers everything to be transacted in cash. As for me, I hold several Platinum cards but I don't feel very 'privileged'. Perhaps it's because I've never been rejected for any CC I applied for? *shrugs* This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jun 10 2009, 03:31 PM |

@inuyasha88,
Ok, whatever U say but I still don't feel too privileged holding the HSBC Premier. It's got no benefits as far as I'm concerned. |

Thanks for the information on the Centurion card. I'm a cheapie when it comes to paying AF so I doubt I'll ever want a CC that requires huge sums of AF. Then again, who knows when I have disposable monthly income of €8,800 to spare |

Fewer and fewer people double check the signature behind the card. I guess if you really want a turtle U could |

@New Hank,
Banks do charge an administrative fee of RM5 for any hard copy statements requested for. Now, U do know that nothing in life comes free, right? |

@leoboom,
Should U decide to activate this new Gold card, the old one will be deactivated 90 days thereafter. Hence, if U do decide to throw away the card, please make sure you destroy it because transactions will still go through for the next 90 days |
