Thanks for your clarification. Will call them in the future should I feel like doing surgery on my Hennessy.

Ordered this last week via aliexpress. 390 gram total(2 biner + 4 rings) Hopefully I don't fall & die. If too heavy probably just gonna use it for short trips & long trips using the default lashing. Can't wait for both hammock & suspension to arrive. biggrin.gif
*
That parts strength is over your body weight many time. Caribiner 22kN = 2200kg. If you weight 70kg, that is 31x.

But 390g is abit heavy side.

For hammock, that is ok to get from China. But if for rock climb, I won't order from china. Their material and quality is suspicious.

seems like only 2 of us doing hammock camping here in LYN biggrin.gif

It is not so popular here. It is more for the hardcore camper and hiker.

My latest camping with a 20+person group, only me is using hammock. sad.gif

Our group here in kuching got better number. Got 5 of us hammock campers. 3 using Hennessy. Soon to be 4  tongue.gif
*
Hennessy is not bad.

I still not use to sleep in hammock. The normal hammock I try will squeeze my shoulder when sleep on it. The shorter the hammock the more squeezing it is. Not so comfort.

I have problem sleeping when not comfort enough.

Most of the time I still have to use tent. Cause all the girl want privacy. sad.gif

Wouldn't sleeping diagonally solves this?
*
I found it hard to sleep diagonally. Every time I try to sleep this way, eventually will be back to straight.

But the hammock I try out is a smaller size (or standard ?) Before I brought my banglo hammock.

Is you Hennessy end center is opening type? I mean you craw in from the center.

Include postage its Rm827. Postage alone Rm177. Can't complain much coz it arrived less than 2 weeks from halfway around the globe across Altantic ocean, Europe and Asia continent.

How the whole setup looks like. All in 1 system. Tarp, bugnet hammock, suspension. This not mine. Borrowed the same one from my friend and immediately got hooked. Thick oxford nylon hammock body gives a more "secure" feel than the china made parachute hammock.

Structural ridgeline & ridgeline organizer makes it easier to hang and.... organize stuff during camping trips. Stuff like spectacles (zero risk of getting crushed by your won body when sleeping), lanterns, socks, dry clothes, water bottles, whatever you can think off.

Also the holes on the bugnet is really small. Smaller than the usual white colour kelambu that we buy off the shelf.

And lastly, don't forget the snakeskin. 2 piece of waterproof PU coated polyester cloth sewn to form a tube. When its time to pack up and leave you'll say "why the f are you guys so slow" to the rest of your team with an evil smirk.l
*
Wow, quite expensive. sweat.gif But since it come with the tarp, should be ok the price.

It is double layer ? Waterproof ?

The hammock don't have the side pocket for inner side hammock?

Can the diamond shape tarp prevent rain from both end enter ? I always have doubt about the diamond shape tarp. Cause the end both side is the most expose.

Single layer but thicker than those sold locally by Kampung Traveller, etc. Doubt that its waterproof. Water resistant maybe.

Tarp AND the snakeskin biggrin.gif locally the snakeskin sells for Rm110

The 3 person what went camping with me under the heaviest using this swears taht they slept dry and soundly throughout the night so..... yeah. Its enough.

Some guys in hammockforum mentions that if using it in jungles with lots of overhead tree coverage heavy rain is not an issue. Only when the diamond tarp is used in clear area without trees overhead and strong wind there might be some splashes.
*
My hammock don't come with a tarp. The original tarp is too expensive. So I brought it from china. Normal square tarp. Big size 4x3. Experience with rain and good enough to protect the hammock. And the bag below the tarp.

I doubt the diamond tarp enough shade and if I want to cook something below if rain.
