I also need some recommendations on what mouse to get.... It seems that my razer is not comfortable based on the way I'm holding it..... Any recommendations???

QUOTE(G_KeN @ Apr 10 2009, 12:15 AM) Depends on user preference.... For me, I've tried this version of sidewinder... It is not comfortable at all coz of the weird shape....QUOTE(DjK @ Apr 10 2009, 01:26 AM) fuyoo...comforts i give 9/10 coz if my hand was abit bigger then it would be perfect(average size hand, go figure This is the reason why it is depending on the user himself.... Different users different requirements....No pics to share for now.... After long consideration, bought the Sidewinder X8 mouse.... I totally recommend this bloody mouse to everyone after using it in Cyberfusion for 40hrs of gaming (wirelessly).... Comfortable and sensitive even on wireless mode..... Tried it on the Razer exactMat and tested on mostly FPS games.... Now I'm gonna test on my Qck to c but after using it for so long on exactMat, I'm not used to using this on Qck.... Will try when I get back home.... Added on April 13, 2009, 10:23 am QUOTE(Kelv @ Apr 13 2009, 10:16 AM) Any experience gamer can list out comfortable mouse for people who got big hands? Look at my post... I recommend Sidewinder X8.... For other choices, SS Ikari gets my vote.... For now, these 2 mice are the best on my list.... I've tried both in terms of ergonomics....Ergonomic mouse seems comfortable, but not sure it's easy to control or not for gaming. Normal gaming mouse doesn't seems to have ergonomic features, easily pain on the wrist after gaming. Just to look for suggestion and advice. This post has been edited by Aura: Apr 13 2009, 11:58 AM |

QUOTE(kerryking @ Apr 13 2009, 05:29 PM) I've played and survived thru 40hrs of torture using this.... Can say it suits me very well.... Really GGGGGGOOOODDD!!!! IMO la...Computer War at RM298... The 1st day of the event is when the stock came in... That's according to them.... QUOTE(micdy @ Apr 13 2009, 05:32 PM) Hey Aura, how is the X8 performing on cloth mousepad? I read in the link below that the blue track technology does not work well with cloth mousepad? No problems so far.... Need to check on this but I used exactMat and it works bloody good... Later test on my Qck for gaming... For now, kena cabut and makan... Also need to rest kao kao.... I've already become one of the zombies in L4D....http://www.crunchgear.com/2009/03/16/micro...-review-update/ Please give some comment. Thanks! |

QUOTE(G_KeN @ Apr 16 2009, 03:52 PM) X8 so far no complains.... Been playing wirelessly and it really lives up to my expectations regardless of the connectivity.... For a wireless gaming mouse, this is awesome but u can play using wired mode also.... Weight is well balanced and most importantly, comfy... This is my weapon to survive 40hrs of torture during the Cyberfusion LAN Party.... No wrist aches until the end of the event.... Havn't touched DA before but it is as comfy as the Ikari.... The problem with Ikari is the weight.... Too light.... Battery life is substantially long so no worries of running out of juice.... Also it comes with extra mouse feet (total of 3 sets including the ones stuck to the mouse).... Works well on cloth and hard mousepads like Qck and the exactMat.... |

QUOTE(CityLife @ Apr 16 2009, 11:25 PM) Mamba is expensive and the battery that they used are similar to G7.... very hard to replace....X8 is evenly priced and it uses 1 AA rechargeable battery..... Both are good mice... Depending on u lor.... To me, 4000 DPI is more than enuf already and I'm using half of it on 2560x1600.... |

QUOTE(TomatomanzSeedlezz @ Apr 20 2009, 08:48 PM) Well, if u don't like any Sidewinder mice so far, u wouldn't like X8, considering practically same design and pretty much same size too. Just that X8 its 'wireless/wired' hybrid mouse. Actually, I dun like Sidewinder is bcos of the odd shape but this doesn't apply to the X8 though.... The X8 is totally different in terms of feel and comfort.... As for size wise, X8 is a bit bigger than the other Sidewinders.... Other than the X8, the others are not worth to get at all in terms of comfort IMO....Cheers |

QUOTE(TomatomanzSeedlezz @ Apr 21 2009, 03:47 PM) U oredi tried it?.. its not on sale locally yet rite?.. EEErrr... I was one of the 1st ppl who bought the X8 in M'sia and I've tried all of the Sidewinder series.... Trust me, u will know when u tried it....Abt the comment earlier im just referring to all the reviews i saw online. Its like if u feel uncomfortable using Sidewinder/X5, u will still feel uncomfortable with X8. But if u feel "kinda comfortable" on Sidewinder/X5, then u will find X8 its much more comfortable, well thats what the reviewers online said.. heh Cheers Well, some reviewers even said that the X8 skips on cloth surfaces but I din hav this problem with my Qck and I've read tons of reviews and all of it also reviewed it differently.... |

QUOTE(TomatomanzSeedlezz @ Apr 22 2009, 03:45 AM) I see.. cool... and hows the battery life?.. its using typical nimh AA batts rite?.. As for battery life, it is rated 30hrs on full charge and that onli applies if u used it for 30hrs straight and it did perform that good since I used it in Cyberfusion that time.... Yeah... It is using one AA battery but make sure it is rechargeable....Btw, how much u got it for?.. Cheers That time I got it for RM298.... Now can be bought at around RM275.... |
