I also need some recommendations on what mouse to get.... It seems that my razer is not comfortable based on the way I'm holding it..... Any recommendations???

I'm also looking forward to replace my diamondback.... I prefer palm grip.... Which u guys recommend???

Depends on user preference.... For me, I've tried this version of sidewinder... It is not comfortable at all coz of the weird shape....

This is the reason why it is depending on the user himself.... Different users different requirements....

No pics to share for now.... After long consideration, bought the Sidewinder X8 mouse.... I totally recommend this bloody mouse to everyone after using it in Cyberfusion for 40hrs of gaming (wirelessly).... Comfortable and sensitive even on wireless mode..... Tried it on the Razer exactMat and tested on mostly FPS games.... Now I'm gonna test on my Qck to c but after using it for so long on exactMat, I'm not used to using this on Qck.... Will try when I get back home....

I've played and survived thru 40hrs of torture using this.... Can say it suits me very well.... Really GGGGGGOOOODDD!!!! IMO la...

Computer War at RM298... The 1st day of the event is when the stock came in... That's according to them....

No problems so far.... Need to check on this but I used exactMat and it works bloody good... Later test on my Qck for gaming... For now, kena cabut and makan... Also need to rest kao kao.... I've already become one of the zombies in L4D....

Just tried few rounds of L4D... No problem with cloth surface.... I guess they hav a defective one or sumthing.... Or maybe they are being jackarses....

For me, still Sidewinder X8... It is now the best in terms of features and pricing....

I believe is "Sidewinder" due to its current cheapo price....

According to ppl who bought it, RM119 gua... But if I were u, better dun get the Sidewinder.... Get the Sidewinder X8 better coz of ergonomics.... So far it is the best among all Sidewinders....

Already hav demo set.... My fren tried it already.... The feel just like Deathadder.... Going to be available for us to buy but the price will be OMFG....

LOL!!!! If not mistaken, Mamba will be retailed around RM500+- (that's what I heard)

X8 so far no complains.... Been playing wirelessly and it really lives up to my expectations regardless of the connectivity.... For a wireless gaming mouse, this is awesome but u can play using wired mode also.... Weight is well balanced and most importantly, comfy... This is my weapon to survive 40hrs of torture during the Cyberfusion LAN Party.... No wrist aches until the end of the event.... Havn't touched DA before but it is as comfy as the Ikari.... The problem with Ikari is the weight.... Too light.... Battery life is substantially long so no worries of running out of juice.... Also it comes with extra mouse feet (total of 3 sets including the ones stuck to the mouse).... Works well on cloth and hard mousepads like Qck and the exactMat....

Mamba is expensive and the battery that they used are similar to G7.... very hard to replace....

X8 is evenly priced and it uses 1 AA rechargeable battery.....

Both are good mice... Depending on u lor.... To me, 4000 DPI is more than enuf already and I'm using half of it on 2560x1600....

If u dun wanna use wireless, just attach the magnetic cord and it can be used as a wired mouse....

It's ok.... The good thing about X8 is that the battery that it uses is one AA rechargeable battery instead of battery pack which saves a lot of money in buying batteries....

Actually, I dun like Sidewinder is bcos of the odd shape but this doesn't apply to the X8 though.... The X8 is totally different in terms of feel and comfort.... As for size wise, X8 is a bit bigger than the other Sidewinders.... Other than the X8, the others are not worth to get at all in terms of comfort IMO....

@TehWateva: Next time I also need to molest try ur mouse out.... I din buy the G9 bcos of its size onli.... Not comfortable for me....

EEErrr... I was one of the 1st ppl who bought the X8 in M'sia and I've tried all of the Sidewinder series.... Trust me, u will know when u tried it....

Well, some reviewers even said that the X8 skips on cloth surfaces but I din hav this problem with my Qck and I've read tons of reviews and all of it also reviewed it differently....

The original Sidewinder as u know, BAD..... X5 not much different from the original Sidewinder.... X3 too small..... But still depends on user preference....

As for battery life, it is rated 30hrs on full charge and that onli applies if u used it for 30hrs straight and it did perform that good since I used it in Cyberfusion that time.... Yeah... It is using one AA battery but make sure it is rechargeable....

That time I got it for RM298.... Now can be bought at around RM275....
