try to snatch my DSLR camera but lucky i react fast enough to push his hand aside, they just speed away after that.

Except that incident, everything is fine, walk around the street at 3am still safe.

Jakarta VS Bandung.

Hi, is it a good time to visit jakarta and bandung just after raya festive ?

I scare most shop are still closed and the attraction is closed too ?

Went to Jakarta 2 months ago, stayed at teduh hostel near kota tua, and this would be my top pick over jaksa street. Very convenient location, plenty of food with fatahilah square just around the corner and only 5 mins to kota station, from where u can take transjakarta bus to downtown Jakarta

This is why ppl don't normally plan around lebaran when they go indo. Too much headache.

To answer ur question, the situation is pretty similar to msia, so u can pretty much guess

Jakarta is not really on a lot of people's radar. Bandung, Yogyakarta and Bali are more popular compared to Jakarta

Nothing interesting there except a big city & shopping.

Aim for those AirBnB apartment for accommodation, cheap and nice location with good facilities.

1) better to change money there ? Or change in SG /MY before going ? My experience in batam and Bali tells me that indo local provide better rate, not sure is it same in Jakarta and bandung

2) 7D6N, enough to visit Jakarta and bandung ? Or should stay at Jakarta only ?

3) if Jakarta and Bandung, how many days in each place ?

4) my fren recommend to stay at Favehotel LTC Glodok for better night life. Any other hotel more affordable and better than this ?

5) in Bandung , any recommended hotel around Bandung ? Prefer around jalan Braga

6) is it better to take direct bus from jakarta airport to Bandung ? How long the duration ? Or I should go to gambir station to take train to Bandung ?

1) You can always withdraw from the local CIMB or Maybank at Jakarta. They have a lot of branches and rates are better.
2) Do go to Bandung. You will be really bored with 7 days.
