last time no fan 49'c
but now the temp is 60'c.
help plz.

wat is that north bridge?
can i disable it ?
something wrong with the north bridge?
accidentally oc it ?

humm, maybe the thermal paste worn-out?

try to put a small fan at the heatsink or improve your casing airflow

no...u cannot disable the northbridge chip >_<

go into BIOS setup, press Load Optimized Default.
set your HDD boot sequence, save & exit.
get into BIOS setup again, check NB voltage.

NB is the chip below the heatsink you say hot.

weird,i just restore the bios setting.
then the temp so hot for north bridge only.

why i can't see this setting in my bios... the cpu-nb vid
is it the northbridge voltage?

it is imc voltage. nb voltage is under pwm session.

My 3.1ghz still cannot leh...
After 3 hours prime95, auto restart
Vcore pumped like sh*t already...

What settings mate?
Perhaps should try higher VCore?
Or higher Multiplier?
Or maybe it has wall?

it`s normal the north bridge is hot

compare to my Nforce 550 is 70`C

if u want to keep it cool,just get good active cooling..

Tried that too. I copied from other forums

Untight your ram first(5-5-5-15-21)
Then try increase the VCore of your old Unstable 3.1Ghz Settings.
Then,if still not stable,increase VCore or play with Multiplier instead..
You could try..or perhaps vice versa

do you check the load temp for the cpu as well?
I found out phenom ii here will rise the temp after a long time prime...
me adding extra fan inside the casing and testing still...
read read read online... blue screen restart maybe cause by the temp peak...
vdrop is happening here while try to pump more vcore 1.470 get down 1.440 then up 1470....
trying prime 1.440 +150mv here...

about cpu-nb vid ... it is not available in my cpu setting ... saw some post showing it is at the place u set ACC
