bro, i wanna ask, x4 is HT link Frequency right? and what is X4? is it 800Mhz?

all i can find in HT Link Frequency in the advance BIOS (ctrl+F1) are:
200MHz, 400MHz, 600MHz, 800MHz and 1GHz..

So, err..how rclxub.gif
*
got ur ans as below rite?? our frenly member always act fast.. thumbup.gif
this free service is nearly 24/7 by running shift nite cls... LOLz...

QUOTE(ktek @ Mar 13 2009, 08:53 PM)

sarah is right, 6000+ default use 200x5=1000MHz HT link
so 200x4=800MHz.
hehe use DFI more OC friendly brows.gif
*
QUOTE(cloudwan @ Mar 13 2009, 09:17 PM)
Righto, 200mhz = x1, 400mhz = x2, 600mhz = x3, 800mhz = x4, 1000mhz = x5

*
0804 that time oni do phenom, not yet phenomII laugh.gif coz that is diff 1 year..!!

NB, as usual, do blend test, if sys pass and dun hv any error on running normal software and other application,
that will be consider stable ler... thumbup.gif

i hv one question laa.. why when awal2 put ccf my temp around 43 when idle.. but now, idle is 50.. why haa??
its start happen when i didnt switch off the pc for 4 days.. is it because i didnt put thermapaste?
*
QUOTE(mozact89 @ Mar 14 2009, 04:17 PM)
dont hv enough money to buy thermapaste.. heheheh.. is it the cause that make the temp higher???
*
wow... bro u r nice!! dun1 put TIM, go n put a cheapo TIM better thn no...
coz it is help to maximize the heat transfer frm ur proc surface to ur CCF base,
once u din put any, the heat transfer is weak due to the air gap b/ween the proc and ur CCF base, so the temp was not so nice..

and for long run internal air flow is important, as i noe u using CM690 rite..
cable management make sure it wont block the air ventilation..

robyncom can get that.. mayb a better price, i dunoe brows.gif

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Mar 14 2009, 05:56 PM)
nb vid is actually d imc voltage, so u pump any juice to d imc it should go to d chip since imc is @ d chip (* i mite be wrong). as long as u cool d chip down & no insane voltage like > 1.5v for 24/7, it should be ok.  smile.gif
*
oic ic... for NB put a aft market cooler + a fan for it should be good enuf i thk..

last time i use coolice punya TX2, itu pun i put a bit oni, i use card to make it flat, a vy thin layer,

1 tube can do around 10 times i thk.. nod.gif

mayb u need to use camcoder to record down how i do it... laugh.gif

else u can js go visit the air cooling thread, there got some link to the guide how to apply TIM do HDTtech HSF thou wub.gif

hahah.. i x kate u put half tube laa.. i use ur cara use card to ratakan tx2 kat atas proc tu.. huhuhu

BTW i got explain b4, TIM is js a material to maximize the 2 metal contact surface and help to transfer the heat,
It was not a vy good heat transfer as metal, but it js is use to fulfill the air gap among the 2 metal contact contact,
it was a bad news whn u put it too much.... make the heat transfer bcome weaker... blush.gif
