if you say law of physics apply in gundam.....why is there sound effects in a vacuum enviroment (space)... pew pew pew wooosh!

CUZ IT LOOKS COOL! well that is true ...if you looked closely into the older gundam series..only the ones who can transform into mobile armour (zeta gundam) can fly on earth..where-else the rest need a hover board...tho newer gundams, seed for example..they just added those wings..thats why only strike freedom, justice gundam and aile strike gundam can fly independently And apparently somehow they enable them to be in atmospheric flight whereas other gundams need those flying platform things. |

Justice's backpack is a subflight lifter, so it utilize that to provide atmospheric flight capability. That is why Justice stands on the subflight lifter or the lifter wings is opened when on earth flying.

it might help them in flying, but when they hover and make some pose in mid air they need to depends on the thruster also
