I bring turian and krogan team most of the time, it's all about guns! Meh to techs and biotics!

In Mass Effect 1, I brought Tali and Krogan, sometimes Tali + Ashley. The game became too easy even if I played the hardcore level.

Does this combination work in ME2?

On normal, i think pretty much any combination works.
Harder difficulties, no idea.

before redeeming code...ensure your EA account has already being linked with your gamertag. redeem code at social.bioware.com.
the armor can be changed in shephard's cabin in Normandy, the weapon is in the weapon loadout locker....in the ship as well.
since the dlc is dloaded to your hdd, you shud be able to play offline. location of zaeed and crash site you can find thru ur private messages..

im already at disc 2 but i havent finished with alot of missions from disc 1...theres was one mission i really wanted to at Illium and it involves Miranda...no spoilers from me

for those having problems with importing the game save, be sure to finish the game with the level that u desire on me1 and then import it on me2...



ok here's the comparison when u import characters from the first mass effect:

mass effect > mass effect 2
level 50 > level 3 +2000 exp
paragon 100% > + 190
renegade: 17% > + 17
cash: 9999999 > 130,000
all elements found & all quest & sidequest completed > palladium = 5000, iridium = 5000, platinum = 5000, element zero = 5000
------------------------------------------------------

mass effect > mass effect 2
level 60 > level 5 +4000 exp
paragon 100% > + 190
renegade: 25% > + 25
cash: 9999999 > 150,000

Addendum. You have to finish the game in ME1 first in order to import into ME2. So if you finish ME1 then continue with New Game+ you have to finish the 2nd playthrough, only then you can import into ME2.

Actually the sidequest are not necessary. I hardly sidequest in ME1 for my thrid run through and got the same amount of palladium = 5000, iridium = 5000, platinum = 5000, element zero = 5000.

u get to keep ur level, class, armor, heavy weapon, weapon u last carry,

u get to respec with ur bonus ability base on who loyal to u at ur first playthru.

u get 25% exp, 200k credit and 50k resources.

thing that not carry over, galaxy map, ur upgrade, companion loyalty and paragon/renegade standing.
