For Xbox360 users, just incase if u have the problem with Cerberus network. For those who downloaded the free dlc i guess not need ba www. Had a PC CE as a gift from a fren, she bought the wrong copy coz i wanted the 360 version ww. I'm going to sg this sat to get the 360 version. My CE code is working now tho.

Source

How can you tell if you are Cerberus Enabled:
When you start Mass Effect 2, there are two computers on the main menu. The computer on the right hand side of the screen should be open. If it is not then check to see that you've entered your Cerberus Code in the account creation screens located in game.

PC Collector's Edition Issues :
We're aware that some PC Collectors' Edition Cerberus Codes are not working. If you have the number 1688108 on the bottom right of your Cerberus Network card and have not associated it to your EA Online account at 4:00 PM PST your codes will be fully functional. If you already have associated it to your EA Online account at 6:00 PM PST you can restart the game and your Cerberus Account will be available automatically!

Zaeed :
Some of you may be looking for Zaeed as a way to check your Cerberus Account. Zaeed is being propagated to Xbox Live as we speak and will be available mid day tomorrow (MST).

Timeouts:
Some users are reporting timeouts or connection drops to Cerberus Network. We are actively pursuing a fix to this and will update everyone once it is fixed on the server-side.

General Cerberus Issues:
If you've entered your Cerberus Activation Code through the web interface and have played other EA Games with EA Online accounts but are not seeing the Cerberus Mission Computer open on the main menu. You'll need to contact EA's Customer service line to ensure that the Gamer Tag in Xbox Live is associated with your EA Online account you've used to activate Cerberus.

My review for the first 4 hours of the game:

I know there are a lot of people who like the "gears of wars" battle system. So ME2 introduced these elements into the game. Personally, I hated this system and I think it's a total departure from the RPG element of ME1.

Why do I say so?

In ME1, Shields and Hit point regeneration are important elements because if you are not playing a soldier class, your Health basically does not regenerate and you have to rely heavily on Medigel or Shields (tech ability or given by armour).

But in ME2, there is a "auto-heal once you take cover from hits". With this element being introduced, it virtually render the HP regeneration gear / Shield a bit pointless. To balance this, Bioware has made the enemy HP to regenerate rapidly once they take cover too!

This is alright , BUT, they introduce the Thermal Clip system, which effectively is the Ammo-based system. From desperation of Health (Medigel) in ME1, now you have desperation for Ammo in ME2.

In summary, it makes the game very hard for people like me who has slower reflex (who always miss the target and therefore running out of ammo) , and who prefer a simpler battle system which stresses more on tweaking of armour/shield (micromanaging RPG element) than reflex-based shooter system.

But I am sure, there would be people who will like this system, especially for those like shooter-game.

Nevertheless, it is still a quality game with production value.

I still cannot find any walkthrough!

anyway figure out how to control the teamates and to assign their powers to the RT and LT ?
How to upgrade weapon?
what to upgrade?

Well, not as easy as ME1 tongue.gif

Weapon upgrades will be available in your new ship slowly as you progress, as with the other upgrades. So far I've seen ammo and damage upgrades.

The heatlink clip virtually change the game into a shooter, where precision is more crucial than everything else... I hate situations where there are simply not enough clip of a same weapon for you to drop everyone, you'll have to switch weapons... this feels like gears of mass effect.

Agreed. To tell the truth, I was a bit disappointed with the battle system. But I do see Bioware trying to introduce some variety into the game , maybe as a testing ground before the final Mass Effect 3 which definitely going to be a bang.

BTW, the works for Mass Effect 3 has started!

Is it me or does anyone has any problem importing existing character(s) from ME1 to ME2? I've tried many times to import, but it said No Character Found. When I checked on my Xbox 360 HDD memory under Games, there are saved games and other files from ME1. Just FYI, I've completed ME1 up to level 50 as Soldier class. What gives?

There are some issues with gamer profile and moved save games, you may wanna go to the bioware forum to check or ask.

i'm not sure about ea.com.sg since mine is ea.com but by principal, should be similar... click on ur profile... when the ea account manager: personal details pop up.. scroll down and select a default persona... if there's nothing there, click on add persona and choose the following when asked...

Select the persona type you would like to add:
existing Xbox LIVE Gamertag

and you should be good to go.. smile.gif
