now 60.50 getting unstable, every few minutes no connection then need to restart modem again
anyone with the same problem?
I've been on 60.48 for two whole days and downloading from rapidshare non stop 24/7 lowest speed at 169KBPs maximum speed at 230KBPs [Slowmyx 1MB].
Maybe you guys should try getting 60.48 too.
Also, as I've said earlier, please provide an adequate cooling to your modem. Overheating is one of the main cause of broadband disconnection.
If your modem line is connected to a splitter that splits modem line & phone line, try connecting modem directly to the main line.
My phone line in my room is based on prepaid, I rarely use my room phone. Most of the time I connect the modem directly to the main line, I only use the room phone when I want to call someone. But then, I'm using a mobile phone so the probability of me using the room phone is like once in a month.

i am afraid of my electric bills.

.. btw so far so good
Modem only use a little wattage la bro. You'll barely see any differences even if you turn off your modem the whole month.
