Apparently we might see a better physics in this one. As confirmed by Codemasters, they are already changing they way car physics handled in their racing games, especially FFB deadzones (for those who have blank face on this one, it is Force Feedback, the realistic feel you get from your steering wheel when you play. the deadzone is a zone where the FFB won't work).
![]() As shown above, when comparing to a simulator, in this case rFactor (and also LFS or GTR), the FFB is smooth throughout taking the corner, thus you will feel a realistic feedback from your steering. In Grid, ppl complained that the FFB is not linear to the steering, and feels like the car is turning on a pole instead of it being linear. Codemaster had fixed this for F1, and chances are it will also be in DIRT |
