i agree that it is quite hard to start with, but once get the hold of it, then start drifting like mad.. combine brakes with throttle should do the job well.. thumbup.gif and of cz proper steering, steering is everything in this game.. brows.gif

aiks, i have been playing pc games for awhile la bro.. just got a laptop 3 months ago.. layan mw2, dragonage, n now on wow...

anyway, this dirt 2...its just so awesome man, the graphics, the realism+arcadish never turn off the mood

about the steering, yeah its damn freaking hard haha...on keyboard, somore laptop keyboard, it makes me almost wan to throw the laptop away... until........


Options > Advanced Wheel Settings > Steering Saturation : 100% <- Changed it to 55-60% depending on cars and track... voila! this game is flawless!

it controls smoothly, precisely, n no more cartoon cornering (of course, the % is depending on personal preference, but if I were to compare this steering control with NFS series, 50%-60% is good enough ^.^

hard? not really if ur drivin slow
but its very inconsistent and easily loses control at high speed

for keyboard users...

reduce ride height (towards left)
increase suspension hardness/stiffness (left)
reduce differential stiffness (right)

this would mildly improve ur car's handling but it also increases steering sensitivity (easier to over-steer) and makes ur car feels more bouncy/floating

for some ppl who dont like "bouncing/floating" cars, just reduce suspension hardness/stiffness
i would prefer my car to "float" more as i can pull out more weight transfer drifts

in the end... its still the same old... Practice Makes Perfect biggrin.gif

come come... use BMW Z4 all star... nicest car to drive in TB discipline... (excluding dallenbach)

yeah, i'm also disappointed that TB dont have co-driver... asssss man

1 more thing... i wonder does co-driver adds more weight to the car? makes the car harder to brake, accelerate, and improves weight distribution over the whole car ?

4xxx series supports dx10.1

It really headach to remember all those corners, moreover need to concerntrate on driving so fast... sad.gif
Much prefer the technical call rather than simple call though, simetime the simple call not so accurate (also already get used to the technical call since CMR2005).
Since they even made tyre-physics, impossible they will miss out the co-driver weight? Hmm... hmm.gif
