It might not be,but it's a bloody pain in the ass to use.

Halo 2 was originally meant to come out for Windows XP, but M$ decided to make it only Vista compatible to push its new operating system. Sadly it came out when Vista was still new and not many ppl are keen to jump on a new OS just to play this game.

I hope Codemasters are not as stupid as M$ and make their game W7 only, rendering all of us with Vista and XP unable to play.

GFWL is so far ok for me, it worked well when playing DoW2 with my friends and can easily get into the game. I dun mind an extra step, provided the darn thing WORKS.

What I do not want is another GTA4 for pc that not only requires GFWL, you need that @#$#!$1@#@! Rock* social club thing. Worst still, the game itself is buggy. Glad I did not buy the game! (not even the "Malaysian" version").

I tell you, 10 years from now, the only game we will be all playing is Starcraft 1, Mechwarrior 3/4, Dirt 1, Warcraft 3 coz that time Valve has bankrupt, EA has bite the bullet and GFWL is confined to history. Not to mention Rock* has sold the social club server, so good luck finding a way to play GTA4.

Directx 11 graphic enhance will be subtle only.. jgn takut laa
our game engine base on 360 core features = directx 9
n target bencmark can be run 30 fps on PS3..
since ps3 slower a bit than 360(really!)..n PC nowadays faster than 360..

n another thing i dun think they will release for win7 only because our office also using XP.. if not we cant even play in the ofis if we get free copy huhuhu

codemaster intent to upgrade ur win version maybe? *pray²*

so, how is the on-going development? at what stage now?


p/s: malaysian gamer didn't get test-drive session huh? come²..we all support CM.arrange one la.

Halo 2 PC, the problem its not a DX10 game... lol.

M$ just mod a few extensions so that it wont play on other o/s besides Vista.. lol

As later ppl found out and tweak the game and play on XP.

unfortunately all final stage was done in UK we also never play that update version of it.. but its almost done i think since it will be release on sept.

currently we r werking on F1 2010

n btw DX11 not exclusive for win7 .. it will be release for vista as well..
is it include wif vista sp2 update?..never check that though
