PC Gamer is kinda fail imo. ME2 has not gone below 90 afaik too.
*
PCGUK isnt as good as last time.

The article's quality is dropping.

kianweic, since you are going back to Aus,read PCPP. I have their first revamped issue and it's probably the best gaming magazine i ever read.

PCPP is probably the first gaming magazine that have a competitive gaming section where they feature local news and lots of tips on how to be good.

The ones we're not supposed to have or redeem codes? For redeem codes, use the social site's code redemption page. Then it will direct you to a page to download the stuff.
*
We are suppose to have, then, where do i go to download?

I thought it's like DA:O where you download it in game?

I see Mass Effect as an interactive movie, where you get to take part in it and make choices that change some plot of the story base on your preference. Mass Effect would fall into the Action - Drama genre, just like Avatar only it's better written.
*
Yeap,it's always an interactive movie than just a game.

Thats why i like games like ME or DA.

Just started playing, quite a few unexpected incidents already happen, even im only still at the start.

Replaying Mass Effect, taking it nice and slow and enjoy every moment of the game. Gonna make sure that I hit lvl 60 before I import my character over to ME2.
*
Do you get any bonus if you import a lvl 60 character to ME2?

Feels like ME1 is already part of ME2. You have to play ME1 before playing ME2,as major decisions are brought over to ME2.

Some how,i still prefer ME1's combat. The ammo system is kinda hard to use some times but the combat is definitely more fun now.

Soldier does feel a lot like GoW to me.With the reload mechanism.

Still, the 3 new ammo types makes Soldier much more fun than ME1.

Eh? ME2 doesn't have the mucho awesome QTE reloads of GoW. Not that it needed it since you reload pretty damned fast. Its just a regular reload system.
*
Im just saying it feels like GoW,as it's just all about shooting. There isnt much spells to use at all.

You dont have to "correct" every single post.

The weapon loadout is crap if you don't count DLC. Only the heavy weapons let you make a meaningful choice. For other weapons I have been using the same gun for nearly the whole game. It would be better if Bioware, for example, gives 5 different unlockable sniper rifles, each with significant differences in aspects like firing rate, recoil, ammo capacity, damage and zoom.

A fast-firing shotgun would be welcome, too.
*
Kind of agree,as there could be more guns in the first place.

They could have just drop a few of those old style infinite ammo guns as an alternative to the new types. Not like they are bad,but having more variety dont hurt.

It's impossible to replace every single gun in the galaxy in a few year's time.

Besides,

No problem.

Noob tube is a ton of fun. I wish we could attach underbarrel launchers to weapons as well as aesthetically see the sights we attach if they go with the ME1 system of on the fly upgrades.

That guy?

Even better, stick it into Grunt's hands and watch stuff die. Legion is also a beast with the Widow. How I wish everyone had special weapons, someone like Archangel could use the Revenant  unsure.gif
*
Yeap, great to push some boss down. biggrin.gif

Okay,im gonna go there then.

Just got it. biggrin.gif

Lots of people hate ME1's system so BioWare got rid of it. Funny thing, lots of people hate ME2's lack if inventory. Like one character in ME2 said, if we stuck 2 humans in a room there would be 3 opinions or something like that.
*
ME1's inventory system was flawed, but it wasnt that bad.I find it ok.

Still,ME2's one is not bad too. Still miss the armor or weapon extra addons.

Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage (aka launch trailer music) from 'Legend'

Damn. Perfect music, awesome trailer. Even after going through the game once, I don't get tired of watching it.
*
For me,i downloaded a HD version of that trailer and watch it on my iPhone almost everyday.

It feels so epic and fits the game nicely.

by the way ... pirated games are the exact copy of the original game ... just that it does not used the original activation .... so whenever a pirated game is succesfully installed ... the following problem they face would be the same as the one who got it originaly..
*
Right, try that on a Valve game or some EA game.

There are some pirated exclusive problems with those games.

any recommended skills for soldier? i got 6 point to spend?

I finished it on normal and i used Incendiary Ammo A LOT.

Especially at level 4 where the ammo burns stuff around it.

Great for killing big crowd.

All im gonna say,Mass Effect 2 is a damn good game.Worth every single cent of that RM140 i spend.f*** those who bought pirated.

Now,gonna play another round of with a Renegade character and a level 60 Paragon character from ME1.

Any suggestion on what class to play? I played Soldier already,so,whats the best class to play? Infiltrator? Vanguard?

Try Infiltrator, it's more awesome this time around and you don't have to run around in ugly medium armor.

Yes, you sent the wrong guy down. It's either Tali or Legion, the rest get one-shotted after that.

Btw, rm 140?
I think it only appears on NG+.
*
Okay, but i have already started a Vanguard with Assault Rifle on Veteran setting.

It's much harder.

I guess i have to replay it again.

Is it just me or ... sheperd seems to be lacking in physical stamina?
He always run out of breath after sprinting in a very short distance... and i mean "very" short  [approximately 2 floors]

Unlike one of our LYN member here that could jog from KLCC to Beijing and thats only 4,080km through walking path .... [stated by him that he could jog 5,000km a day]

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1324016/+20
Btw... the disruptive ammo doesn't seem to be any effective although at Level 3 .... seems like theres no significant difference from normal shot..

I maxed Combat mastery and it also doesnt seem to show any sign that i had become more powerful

I tried reset it and maxed out Adrenaline with the 70% time thingy option ... it states that time almost stand still or something..

But in combat it's just like having level 1 adrenaline ....
*
Shepard is carrying so many guns with some advance armour. How the hell he's gonna run far with all those gear? Besides,it's a game. doh.gif

Soldier is more or less just about shooting your enemies.Use Disruptive when there is Geth or Mechs. Incendiary for anything organic. It's simple.
