It can be that you are too far away, that you're using crappy internal wiring or that you're using an ADSL1 modem when you're supposed to be using an ADSL2/2+ modem.
For starters, try to eliminate the potential problems that you can. Take your modem and plug it directly into your line, without an ADSL splitter and without a 'physical' line splitter (the one that allows 1 phone to be shared by 2). Check your SNR margin and attenuation for any diff. Then try it with your ADSL line splitter. Repeat with different telephone cables and check for differences.
If your margin number increases and your attenuation is reduced, that is an improvement.
They provided me with the modem, written ADSL2/2+ on the box. I tried plugging in directly, tried 3 different splitters and the SNR Margin is still the same.
Its most probably crappy wiring or my house is too far away, im still waiting for Suk's PM :\
EDIT: Since I have two PSTN lines in my house, one Screamyx and one Jaring (Cancelling screamyx as soon as Jaring is stable). Streamyx always gave me problem, though the DSL rarely disconnects, but the internet does (dsl stays connected). Ironically, I can connect jaring and streamyx on any of the both lines. Connecting to Jaring on the original subscribed line gives me frequent disconnection while the other gave me a smooth connection. Its definitely the line, so im just going to plug it in on the other line. case closed

thanks to everyone who gave help
