i just receive a call yesterday from sime darby. they offer me a post: admin assistant at wisma sime darby jln raja laut

may i know what is the job spec (i cant found the ads any more, i think the job ad expired) ??

and what is the interview procedure ??? '

Btw, usually u will found out the job scope for admin asst. is so general....can find out frm other company's spec tht needs admin asst. too.....for interview procedure....juz dress well & be prepared....thts all

I had seen senior exec in Sime darby and their working style is very very relaxed.

basically performing and coordinating an office’s administrative activities
answering calls, documentations, filings, data entry, plan and schedule meetings and appointments,
assisting your superiors and other collegues as and when required.
They will brief you the job description.

got career path grow ??1-2 year can be executive ??

because sime is really big company & offer good benefit if got career path, i am willing start low but if dun hav then bye bye lo

can ask if wan practical at sime darby ,is there stand a chance?

goood bonus i heard

I'm in Sime too, but my working environment and ppl around is very very stress... Even my gf who worked as a HR there needs to work till 8pm+ almost everyday...

Talking about salary Sime is just OK, bonus is good IF company perform well. Anyway, what holds me till now is the exposure I get in my job, get to travel around Asia quite often, even as a junior executive. Think about this, how many junior executive out there enjoyed such international exposure? Well, tat's the good thing for being big after all.

Sime Darby is freezing headcount now for some dept, i think they stop hiring temporary. I was apply for the plantation division last time.
I have friends working at Sime, paycheck is good for junior exec., have allowances and 15% EFP IIRC. Workload is quite high, he work at home during weekend and bring work back to home at weekdays
Its a great company anyway.
